EVENT: The Attack of the Clowns

Early in the morning, those who had brought one back would find the bird keychains they brought back from their trip to that skii resort doing something...strange. The small eyes on the things started pulsing with a faint light that might go unnoticed at first. It doesn't stop though, and keeps right on pulsing for the rest of the morning.

Shortly, before noon, the light stops pulsing and shines bright enough to be uncomfortable.

Two things happen at once when it does.

One of these things is this: within a 50 meter radius of every keychain, strange ripples appear in the ground. From these ripples, something that is barely humanoid in shape slowly ascend. Their colours range from red to silver to yellow to purple. When they've materialized all the way, the Clowns immediately spring into action, attacking anyone nearby and, if there is no one, move in whatever direction they were facing, seeking victims.

The other thing that happens is a voice, young, lilting and feminine, being projected through the keychains.

[Because she was going in for a full on body slam minus any warning sound before. The clown is definitely isn't expecting that.]

[Psii can only admire the way Amaterasu bowls the clown over. While it's still reeling from surprise, he sends out a blast as strong as he can, confident in her ability to direct it.]

[She pivots on her paw when she feels the energy charging up and indeed is ready, aimed at the clown. The clown is sent flying.]

Think there must be trapped humans and others. Should look for them?

[Her ears flick as she looked over the stilled body and turned away.]

Yes, we should. [As much as the clowns should be handled...]

Don't worry, am still eager to fight. Think should apply strategy instead of going to next visible target.]

[Is probably no longer possible to determine where clowns came from, but they should be able to locate any that have grouped to menace humans.]

We'll keep a low profile then, get around, and help people to safety. Any clowns in the way, we'll engage then.

[She puts her nose to the air and then ground when that doesn't work. Plenty of humans and panicked air... but this way? Or that...]

[Psii takes opportunity to rest, trying to relax so can get better resonance. He's aware that in analogy of thinkpan as computer, is constantly running too many processes. Amaterasu's presence seems to halt some of the unneeded ones.]

You're very easy to resonate with. Know am quite the opposite.

Don't worry yourself about it. I open to people easily while you happen to be the opposite. Still, the more you can come to trust, the more you'll find yourself resonating with others. Though, you have your right to be selective even then.

Have always been afraid mind is overwhelming to partner. But imagine you have sensed that already.

Don't think understanding technology is prerequisite. Even to humans from own world, level of technology was when was ship far surpassed anything they knew.

Think you are nearly ideal mix of both. Know you can handle difficult thinkpan, and your ability to calm means am less worried. Am aware that worrying about effect of mind is extremely counter-productive.

I do have some experience with difficult minds. Contesting demons mostly, but they should have a chance to talk.

What are demons?

Demons. Well, they are literal creatures born from ill-will you could say. It can be anything, even a paper parasol thrown away without the chance of being used again. They often prefer to torment humans which is why I fight against them. Killing humans will not satisfy their anger. Of course, humans can turn into demons themselves much like the Kishin eggs here.

Sound very much like kishin eggs. Except am confused about how inanimate objects can develop ill-will.

Though suppose have seen evidence today that is quite possible.
