EVENT: The Attack of the Clowns
Early in the morning, those who had brought one back would find the bird keychains they brought back from their trip to that skii resort doing something...strange. The small eyes on the things started pulsing with a faint light that might go unnoticed at first. It doesn't stop though, and keeps right on pulsing for the rest of the morning.
Shortly, before noon, the light stops pulsing and shines bright enough to be uncomfortable.
Two things happen at once when it does.
One of these things is this: within a 50 meter radius of every keychain, strange ripples appear in the ground. From these ripples, something that is barely humanoid in shape slowly ascend. Their colours range from red to silver to yellow to purple. When they've materialized all the way, the Clowns immediately spring into action, attacking anyone nearby and, if there is no one, move in whatever direction they were facing, seeking victims.
The other thing that happens is a voice, young, lilting and feminine, being projected through the keychains.
""Thank you for all that you have done: none of this would have been possible without your contributions. I would thank you all in person except I don't believe I am really welcome here. Which is a pity as I hadn't gotten to meet all of my lovely victims the first time around. Please accept these children as a token of my appreciation instead. They are a little, ah, crude, but I do hope you will all play nicely~."

[Her fur's rising as she gets closer and closer to the clown's location.]

[He can feel Amaterasu's hackles rising, as if in concert with his own sense of energy building, and he holds energy crackling, ready for her.]
As long it has shape to aim at, can hit it.

[Bounding up to the next floor, there's the clown. Its body writhes and twists around, body bubbling as a new threat appears before it. An actual threat even. Not sure what shape to assume, it tried to take on something at least vaguely canine. She snarls at it, prepared to battle.]

Get it.

Imposters, [he scoffs.]

That could have been more of a challenge. [Still, she's watching its body closely, waiting to see if that blast had been enough.]

[He can hear humans engaged in battle or retreat close by, foreshadowing more clowns to confront.]
Imagine things will get less easy soon.

[She's dashing to the source, eyes ahead and ears forward. She'll barrel into the fight if necessary.]

[He can see he's by far the more cautious of the two of them.]
no subject
If you want. They're close now.
no subject
Many more upstairs. Believe can send multidirectional blast, but need your eyes. Can't tell if humans are nearby.

[Was thinking more that he doesn't want them in way, but yes, not injuring people is good.]

[And there are the clowns, concentrated on several doors. One, they've managed to get inside and people have scattered. Well, that's what it looks like. The way they were getting tired, a red one was present.]

Need to find source of power drain quickly...

[She runs forward and leaps into the fray, four paws out and bowling over one clown, and springing for the next in a moment. The scents were so mingled it was difficult to pick out which clown was the red one.] Can you see it?
no subject
Yes. Just ahead and to right.

[Charging on, she raced around the corner and leapt. The red obviously heard and tried to hit first, but her soul smashed into it. Next, Psii's energy followed with a bang, crashing into its gut.]
no subject
Much better.
[He starts to let another blast build, certain will need it sooner rather than later, and feels sure Amaterasu is as eager to find next target as he is.]

Are you all right?
[Knows can't let self get distracted, and tries to focus on locating closest threat.]
no subject
I'm fine. It's just a scratch...
[She dodges the next clown and whips it with her tail.] Let's just finish cleaning up here.
no subject
[Best thing can do to help her is be effective Weapon until they exit to safety. He gathers strength for larger blast, high on scale HL once devised.]
Can you lure clowns away from humans? Am confident can send burst of energy with radius sufficient to incapacitate them.
no subject
[So easy would the human targets be, but Ammy just has to become a nuisance to get the clown's attention. Snapping at their arms and heels, drawing them back, there were attempts to attack, but she sprung back to avoid before resuming her obnoxious behavior. Each clown she continued until they finally turned, deciding to gang up on her.]
