The discounted price came at a surprisingly good time. With the temperatures in Nevada climbing and no end in sight, it seems the owners of a Pacific Northwestern lodge took pity on the Meisters and Weapons of Shibusen and offered them a break from the heat. Despite it being July, the snow was still plentiful for skiing, snowboarding, sledding and innertubing! Dress warm, rent some gear or bring your own and have at it, they say!

From dawn to dusk, the mountain is lively on all sides, boarders and ski nuts to ski newbies enjoying a mid-week break while nature buffs take hikes over the trails on the greener side of the mountain, reachable by a short bus ride from the main lodge. Whether you're more into the powdery white or the vivid green, there's a spot for you to take a breather on Mount Hood.

A-Anyway, I haven't gotten the opportunity to speak to you personally, but I assume by now you have heard from others that you have been here before.

Yeah, I've heard about it. [She looks up from her knitting, smiling a bit apologetically.] I'm guessing that you're someone I knew before?

[prosecutory]

Correct. My name is Miles Edgeworth. I work as a prosecutor, and as one of the heads of the Kuzunoha Detective Agency.

[evokes]

Wow, a prosecutor? It must be a tough job! But it's nice to meet you, Edgeworth-san, although I guess in this case it's more like re-meet you.

[prosecutory]

Likewise, Minako. Being a prosecutor is tough, yes, but rewarding.

Since you're able to but the bad guys away and all, right?

[prosecutory]

Correct. And more importantly, the truth of each case is brought to light.

[evokes]

The truth of the cases is more important? [She sounds curious. For people working jobs like that, she would've thought that people would say things like justice and whatnot were the most important parts about them.]

[prosecutory]

It should be, otherwise we would relentlessly be placing defendant after defendant behind bars without the benefit of a proper trial.

[evokes]

That's true... It'd definitely be scary to imagine something like that happening.

[prosecutory]

Indeed. [It has happened. He's done it before. It's not something he's proud of.]
