Description: Skiing! Hot chocolate! Snowball fights! Hiking! Folks of Death City say 'screw the heat' and decide to take a frosty vacation a few states away. COMMENCE MISCHIEF.



The discounted price came at a surprisingly good time. With the temperatures in Nevada climbing and no end in sight, it seems the owners of a Pacific Northwestern lodge took pity on the Meisters and Weapons of Shibusen and offered them a break from the heat. Despite it being July, the snow was still plentiful for skiing, snowboarding, sledding and innertubing! Dress warm, rent some gear or bring your own and have at it, they say!

From dawn to dusk, the mountain is lively on all sides, boarders and ski nuts to ski newbies enjoying a mid-week break while nature buffs take hikes over the trails on the greener side of the mountain, reachable by a short bus ride from the main lodge. Whether you're more into the powdery white or the vivid green, there's a spot for you to take a breather on Mount Hood.

"The tea n' fire probably ain't helpin'." He was feeling quite cozy, finally down and off his feet after moving around on the slopes and peeking around the hiking trails. But he liked just chilling out like this, no ghost stories or any weirdness involving TVs in the middle of run-down old shacks.

"Pretty sure nobody's gonna mind if the Deathscythe wants to hit the hay a little early, too. So it's all up t'you."

She curled closer to him, holding her tea closer. Though the party continued in the background, this was the sort of quiet time she preferred; had been wanting since finding out they were going skiing.

"Maybe I'll retire and read for a while before sleeping." Pausing, her face reddened again. "Are... we sharing a bed?"

In that they were alike. He didn't mind a little chatter, but he liked the quiet moments so much more, like many sunny afternoons spent knitting in his room back home. As she moved closer, his arm looped its way around her waist. Sometimes, you just had to not give a shit who was looking. "Sounds good."

But despite teasing not long ago, he turned his eyes to his drink, looking deep into it as he canted his head a bit. "Oh, uh- ...Y-your call."

Feeling his arm, she seemed to settle more and let her eyes close. No, she wasn't about to fall asleep; she had better control over that. Still, this was cozy enough that she may as well. Turning the cup in hand, she opened her eyes to stare at the flames again.

"I doubt we'd cause too much fuss..." Not that she ultimately cared. Sleeping together was innocent enough when not misconstrued and, well, she liked being next to him.

"Me neither. It ain't like that stupid school trip, after all." Ugh. He never thought he'd talk about it again, but King Moron was -way- into keeping the girls and boys separated out of whatever weird thing happened in the past to piss him off so much.

But Kanji hadn't moved, save to take a drink. She was leaning and seemed to slowly drift into some cozy little cloud, and who the hell would he be if he disturbed it?

With a quiet sigh through the nose, he let himself drift as well. It'd been a long time since he was cozied up in front of a fire, after all.

While curious, Naoto didn't inquire at the tone. Obviously as she wasn't enrolled by the time it came around so she was a little curious as to what occurred. She was in Inaba, but that had been strictly work at first.

Eyes glancing up at that sigh, she smiled under her breath. Even though they lived together, they never seemed to get enough of this time. Just sitting and enjoying each other's company, the sounds around merely acoustic in the background.
