Description: Skiing! Hot chocolate! Snowball fights! Hiking! Folks of Death City say 'screw the heat' and decide to take a frosty vacation a few states away. COMMENCE MISCHIEF.



The discounted price came at a surprisingly good time. With the temperatures in Nevada climbing and no end in sight, it seems the owners of a Pacific Northwestern lodge took pity on the Meisters and Weapons of Shibusen and offered them a break from the heat. Despite it being July, the snow was still plentiful for skiing, snowboarding, sledding and innertubing! Dress warm, rent some gear or bring your own and have at it, they say!

From dawn to dusk, the mountain is lively on all sides, boarders and ski nuts to ski newbies enjoying a mid-week break while nature buffs take hikes over the trails on the greener side of the mountain, reachable by a short bus ride from the main lodge. Whether you're more into the powdery white or the vivid green, there's a spot for you to take a breather on Mount Hood.

The question is, where do you even start?

Though if someone who actually know what the hell they're doing on this frozen slope showing up would be appreciated.

[She does take a moment to glance around before asking.]

What about yourself and Atlasia-san?

[Akiha was a bit distracted as she asked that, readjusting one ski successfully without falling down. Hopefully, it wouldn't send her down the slope accidentally.]

Any plans between the two of you in terms of strengthening bonds.

[Since she's suggesting something for her and Kanji.]

Considering we both hate the cold - romantic or not - we'll probably just stay inside.

[She nodded]

I hope the lodge has decent tea, at least.

I hope so as well. Still, given how commercial the resort is, I highly doubt it.

[Did she remember to pack some? Maybe Kanji did. Bad time to think as a ski slipped and there she goes falling backwards.]

[Good thing Akiha doesn't really have any natural instinct to catch someone that falls or she'd have ended up on the ground. Instead, she just watches as Naoto hits the snow.]

You do realize we're both idiots for trying this absurd sport despite possessing the common sense that nothing good can come from strapping pieces of wood to our feet and careening down a snow-covered mountain.

Yes, I've taken that into account.

[Naoto slowly moves to get back up, skis moving this way and that while she's staking her poles into the ground. Back to her feet she goes, bending her knees so it doesn't happen again.]

Good. So we only have ourselves to blame.

[She looks around again.]

And as it seems we are bereft of someone with more knowledge and less common sense, I'm going to try to not kill myself. Should I fail to make it down, make sure to tell Sion that I fell to the stupidest enemy possible.

[She grit her teeth as she faced the mountain down, as if it would suddenly even out of her. It didn't.]

Peer pressure.

[And.... she starts down at the slowest crawl possible, slow-plowing the whole time.]

I'll make sure your message is delivered.

[Naoto watches Akiha take off at a snail's pace. Yep, this was going to be a thing happening all day.]

[Skiing is hard!]

[And dangerous. Still not enjoying this!]

[Kanji owes them all hot chocolate. WITH MARSHMALLOWS.]
