Morning Training Log
Characters: Everyone!
Location: Training Ground, Shibusen
Rating: PG-13 for violence of the training sort
Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on July 18th, so EXPECT PLOT-RELATED EXTRAS THIS TIME AROUND!
Official areas:
FAQ: In need of help or answers? Come here! Staffed by Neji.
Breakfast: The incentive for coming to Morning Training for those who actually don't care about Death City. All food providers are given funds to buy/prepare the food and are then paid for the time they spent cooking/preparing. Provided by a catering service
Combat Instruction: One can learn and improve on fighting techniques! Staffed by Cloud and Sion
Sparring: A bunch of people are there. You show up and pick one to fight. Staffed by Morgan (beginners, intermediate), Amaterasu and Cloud (advanced)
Weapon Transformation: New Weapon? Unsure on how to transform into a weapon (or how to transform back)? Go here! Staffed by Bakura and Aqua,
Soul Perception: Find out more about your soul, what they are, and what they potentially may do. Staffed by Shibusen
Partner Training: Learn how to work as a partner! Staffed by no one :(
Weapons Handling Training: Learn how to handle sharp things and not so sharp things! Staffed by Auron and Genesis
Shooting Range: Learn to shoot a gun, not at quail though, so expect your face to come out of this just fine. Staffed by Naoto, Giroro, and Duo Maxwell
Meister Ability Helpers: Learn about your Meister ability and how to use it. Staffed by Akiha
Finding a Partner: Unpartnered Weapons and Meisters meet each other here! Staffed by no one :(
Medics: A place for medics to hang out, recruit and aid the injured - especially if they get shot in the face by accident. Staffed by Rosalia
Watch: This is where members of the watch meet up, chill, recruit and train! People interested in the watch welcome!
SEES: This is where SEES members hang out, and recruit!
Hug Brigade: A begrudgingly still opened squad dedicated to hugs of encouragement. Thank Lee for this! Staffed by Lee and his brigadiers!
As this is being held during the Meister/Weapon swap event, we expect quite a bit of training going on for all the characters finding themselves dancing to a different beat than usual. There is also a great deal of extra canon items/creatures/things that have been brought in by BREW that can potentially be played with during this time and for that we have a list for you all to peruse of objects/creatures/things that could be found in or around training. However, some things may have already been found/destroyed/moved since their first appearance when the plot began so that may need to be taken into consideration for a few things in the list. It should also be noted that the 19th is when the dinosaur swallows BREW, so no need to worry about that causing your characters to lose focus any more than what all of these things will do!
And of course, as always, feel free to make your own threads!

[If Meenah looks a little more like a cheery barracuda than normal today, it's because the Condesce's cake stand is gone, and that means either her alternate self is gone, or she's in no fit state to be at morning training. Either possibility pleases her immensely, and Meenah can be found cackling quietly to herself over it, water bottle in hand as always, in between breaks from sparring.]
[B]
[She's poking at something near the edge of the training area with the end of a training spear, crouched down and leaning forward, eyes narrowed.
It's a Cactuar, though she doesn't know that, and it doesn't much appreciate her poking it. In fact, it actually only allows her one more poke before suddenly jerking forward, needles flying at her. Luckily, Meenah's reflexes make it so she only takes a few needles in the arm and hair as she ducks and rolls out of the way, flinging the water bottle she'd been holding at the Cactuar in an attempt to distract it. The bottle is pierced by some of the needles, and soaked, the Cactuar seizes up and falls backward...
But the damage is already done, and anyone behind Meenah may or may not have caught the brunt of a round of 1000 Needles.]
...little son of a beach!
[And yep. She's back to poking it.
Coddammit Meenah.]

But after months of being a meister having to learn everything from scratch just sucked. But she figured that maybe she had a hang of thing, so here she went. She closed her eyes, concentrating on being a digivice. Focusing on it...
And soon enough, she was the square shaped device, and plopping down on the grass. Good. Now to change back. Think of herself. Herself. Herself.
It took a few more moments, almost a minute, but she did eventually make it back into human form. Right in time for someone to be walking over her... and for both of them to tumble to the ground because holy crap that wasn't really something you wanted to happen when you were changing forms.]
Watch where you're going next time!

Yes, Sasha was in a terribly good mood. He'd taken to his new Weapon form with unbridled excitement, mastering the process of switching in and out of it (and the shape he takes while in it) practically overnight. It's a lot like what he does at home, almost too much like it, and he's not knocking that. 'Cause he likes to do that.
He's doing what he always does--watching others interact at Morning Training, this time with a cheap popsicle in his mouth, in the relative comfort of shade.]
