Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on July 18th, so EXPECT PLOT-RELATED EXTRAS THIS TIME AROUND!

Hug Brigade: A begrudgingly still opened squad dedicated to hugs of encouragement. Thank Lee for this! Staffed by Lee and his brigadiers!

As this is being held during the Meister/Weapon swap event, we expect quite a bit of training going on for all the characters finding themselves dancing to a different beat than usual. There is also a great deal of extra canon items/creatures/things that have been brought in by BREW that can potentially be played with during this time and for that we have a list for you all to peruse of objects/creatures/things that could be found in or around training. However, some things may have already been found/destroyed/moved since their first appearance when the plot began so that may need to be taken into consideration for a few things in the list. It should also be noted that the 19th is when the dinosaur swallows BREW, so no need to worry about that causing your characters to lose focus any more than what all of these things will do!

[The state of chaos in the city makes work more difficult than usual for an organization meant to help keep the peace, rendering the frown in its commander's expression semi-permanent. As well, he's still considering schedule changes, but hasn't gotten far on that front in a few days.

Along with the recent loss of additional personnel, the possibility of a headache is high and his cup of tea hasn't left his hands. Looking out on the field that's more lively and chaotic than usual, Neji finds himself almost wishing for an invasion instead]

[While Naoto was glad to be back in her old position instructing, this whole mess by BREW was making her more annoyed than usual. While she didn't show it, pardon her for being more scathing than usual. Step lightly when proceeding with casual conversation.]

[For the record, he has no idea how all of this started, but he does advise giving the cactus-looking creatures a wide berth. Approach everything else with caution.

Any other questions?]

[Separated from the other supplies would be a long roll of gauze. Why? Well, Rosalia has Lee this morning for a reason.]

We're going to do hands-on practicing today! Remember, when you're applying bandages to an injury, you want to wrap it tight enough for pressure, but not so much to cut off circulation. Too loose and, well, they fall off.

To help out with a demonstration, we have Lee. Thank you for your time! If you don't mind holding your arm out now?

[Amaterasu is here... but so is the large sheep, Kasugami, drinking out of a large red sakazuki and the rat, Tachigami, sitting beside the sword. The shield and whip are still there, but Ammy might not be the one people spar against today. Approach the three?]

[If Meenah looks a little more like a cheery barracuda than normal today, it's because the Condesce's cake stand is gone, and that means either her alternate self is gone, or she's in no fit state to be at morning training. Either possibility pleases her immensely, and Meenah can be found cackling quietly to herself over it, water bottle in hand as always, in between breaks from sparring.]

[She's poking at something near the edge of the training area with the end of a training spear, crouched down and leaning forward, eyes narrowed.

It's a Cactuar, though she doesn't know that, and it doesn't much appreciate her poking it. In fact, it actually only allows her one more poke before suddenly jerking forward, needles flying at her. Luckily, Meenah's reflexes make it so she only takes a few needles in the arm and hair as she ducks and rolls out of the way, flinging the water bottle she'd been holding at the Cactuar in an attempt to distract it. The bottle is pierced by some of the needles, and soaked, the Cactuar seizes up and falls backward...

But the damage is already done, and anyone behind Meenah may or may not have caught the brunt of a round of 1000 Needles.]

[And yep. She's back to poking it.

Coddammit Meenah.]

[And Lee is indeed here for poking and prodding. He's fairly used to being bandaged, so he's the perfect human display for this lesson. Grinning, Lee holds out one of his arms, for once unbandaged so all his scars and scrapes are visible. He has a lot.]

For those of you who may be injured and in need of bandaging, do remember to be as still as possible to help the procedure along.

[ Thankfully Josuke wasn't too close for that, since all of that looked like it would've been painful as hell. It's when she starts poking the thing again though that he actually decides to approach since y.. eah, this isn't looking too great for her or anyone else around.. ]

[Lee is, of course, hanging out around the Hug Brigade with whatever Brigadiers are still around. He's saddened by the loss of members, but he can smile today. Because today he can still offer hugs to others who might need an emotional boost!]

[She's never seen Lee's arms. Wow... But she needs to focus on teaching again]

That's right, Lee. Moving around only makes it harder for the wrap to be made just right.

Okay, before doing anything, you have to make sure the affected area has been cleaned and a gauze pad is in place. [She places one pad down on Lee's arm] This will help absorb any more blood and further protect the wound as it heals. Now, wrapping will take a few layers...

[She gets to work; at the same time, mentioning how to keep it all even and try not to let it fold over at the edges when going around.]
