Today was meant for shopping. After being kidnapped, after trying to murder her friends, after being triggered once more, after the gala… she was just exhausted. Of everything, really. Not only she couldn’t sleep (she had chronic insomnia by now, it seems. Not being able to sleep is usual to her) but the events exhausted her psychologically.

So today was a day to shop. She asked Keroro to leave work earlier (and bought few mangas to make up for it) and decided to go on a shopping spree. Mostly to buy things she needed, sure. It doesn’t invalidate the fact that she picked something nice to wear, as well as carrying a backpack (where she keeps several necessary goods in case something bad happens. Like an apocalypse).


OPTIONS:
a) Window shopping and realizing she needs more money in her life

b) Buying her groceries (and a bottle of wine...)

c) Cakes time! Eating cake, reading manga and looking a bit too nervous

d) On the way back home, her groceries fall on the floor

SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES

[sayatakagi]

[ Saya is window shopping in front of a store, looking at a light blue dress. Which is actually expensive but. She really wants it. Her frown deepens until it looks like a pout. ] Aha- times like this I miss being rich.

[ with a sigh, she scratches the back of her neck. Well, it doesn’t hurt to try it on, right? ]

SHOPPING FOR FOOD

[ Holding a bag in her hand (she ended up buying the blue dress, after all), Saya is inside the food store, choosing several ingredients to make something special for dinner. Ratatouille sounds good and maybe Sendo will like it, even if it’s a French dish and not Japanese (which is more usual for her to cook).

Tomatoes, garlic, zucchini, eggplant, peppers… ] Where are the herbs?

[ she also has red wine in her basket. But she is trying to hide that because she is a minor and shouldn’t be buying these things. ]

AT THE BAKERY

[because she deserves sugar and cakes.

After shopping, the girl heads towards a bakery to grab something to eat. And probably buy a cake for dessert. Though she is carrying several bags, she doesn’t seem too bothered with the weight as she adds another bag – that has a cheesecake to eat later. What she asks to eat now is a small lemon cake and a cup of jasmine tea.

Eventually she sits down at a table, eating her cake and drinking tea, bags sitting close to her feet. As she does so, she reads manga – something similar to MPD psycho – though she isn’t paying that much attention to it. Saya seems to look around nervously quite a lot, even when she is supposedly relaxing.

Mostly, it’s because she is nervous. Saya can’t really relax. She doesn’t know how to anymore. ]

GOING HOME

[ the day went well. Except when she was going back home, heading towards the Partners apartments, suddenly one of the bags she is holding in her hands rips and her groceries fall on the floor. After a surprised gasp, the girl quickly kneels down tries to pick everything off the floor, cursing] Fuck…!

The day was going so well!!

[ nothing is perfect. ]

[statures]

[well! he was used to shopping for stuff like food and all, even making it around the Shinsengumi headquarters, but seeing all this stuff... some of these things he hadn't even heard of!

but he's looking at what is familiar to him, and he hears someone talking to themselves and he glances over at her.]

....Heeyy! [walks on over to her.] What're you gonna make with all of that?

[sayatakagi]

[ when she hears Heisuke, Saya turns her pink head. Ah- she has talked to him over the network recently that day ]

Uh-

Ratatouille. A French dish.

[statures]

I see I see... foreign stuff huh? I'm not really into western things so-...

[he's kind of a person that used to be all about kicking foreigners out of japan so it's a little hard to get used to everything here and-

Uwah! You got alcohol?! [he says it rather loud.]

Probably because you aren't used to it.

[ OH MY GOD WHAT ARE YOU DOING

Saya quickly tugs at his arm and whispers aggressively. ]

Will you not be so obvious?! Do you want everyone to hear?!

[statures]

[wow!! well he leans in when she starts whispering, not really getting it but okay...]

...Is it bad if people hear?

[he could just buy it for her anyways he's an adult!]

[ she is actually going to do just that ]

How old are you?

[ Masako actually wasn't really looking at clothes, at least not that store in particular. But when she manages to overhear the other girl as she walks past, she can't help but stop for a moment. Well, that's a familiar phrase if she's ever had one. It was just awful how she couldn't run her company from here and keep her money that way. ]

Seems like it's a rather common problem here. [ So she speaks up too. ]

[ when she hears and unfamiliar voice, Saya rises her head and turns to Masako. ]

... the missions don't pay us enough. [ though she doesn't go on missions that often ] It's the first time I'm missing money.

[CLOSED] Saya & Sendo

[ Once she got home, Saya started preparing the Ratatouille right away. It takes a while to make, but before dinner she wants to try her new dress to see how her body feels in it.

That's why, around the time Sendo gets home, dinner is indeed ready (and table set), but Saya is inside her room with her new dress on as she looks at the mirror.

It was expensive, but very worth it. ]

[why does that make a difference here saya- HE'S A MAN!]

[You’d never catch Sendo spending money on expensive clothes. Mainly because he didn’t really care all that much about them. Only thing he cared about was if what he was wearing was actually comfortable or not.

Sendo’s day wasn’t really productive at all. He mostly just spent time along with his own thoughts. He’d been doing that quite a bit lately for various reasons. He was somewhat relaxed when he finally came home to the apartment. Right through the door, he could smell the food that Saya had cooked up for them. Though he had no idea if it was ready or not. He slipped his shoes off near the door and was about to head to his room for something, but he paused as he walked by Saya’s room. He noticed her out of the corner of his eye and he went over to stand her door way.]

Huh..you playing dress up, Saya?

[fujigglephysics]

[Fujino had just been finishing up a few pastries she ordered and was about to turn around and leave when she spotted Saya...'s manga. She didn't know what genre it was, but she's rather curious as to what it was.

Which doesn't last for too long though, as once she takes a glance at Saya, her curiosity is replaced with a look of concern.]

Um, pardon me, but are you okay, miss?

[sayatakagi]

........ are you sure? You look fourteen. [ she is polite ]

[sayatakagi]

[ At the unfamiliar voice, Saya's eyes quickly dart to Fujino ]

Eh? I'm alright.

[ sort of. probably not, if someone is asking her that ] I don't look alright, do I?

[sayatakagi]

[ You should appreciate fashion, Sendo.

She hears Sendo coming inside but doesn't mind it too much. When he passes by her door, that's when she stops in front of the mirror, making sure her dress is perfect ]

... It's not dress up. [ she frowns a bit ] it's a dress I just bought. i like it. [ else she wouldn't have gotten it, right? ]

[Clothes just get ripped and dirtied in a fight. So why bother caring about them too much?]

Oh. [She doesn't have one like that already Sendo thought she might have..but it's not like he really keeps up with what clothes she does and doesn't have.]

Well..it's nice. I like that type of blue.

[sayatakagi]

See? it's much easier when you just compliment me.

[ saya smiles playfully ] Thank you.

Now, get changed or something, [ since Sendo just arrived from work ] I'll set the table for dinner.

[huntressing]

It is a cruel punishment to even cut us off from our funds back home. I'd gladly resume my work there if I could. [ Not like she minds running a company, sure, it's work, but she likes bossing people around... something she misses here, honestly. ]

And like you said, they could at least compensate us with rewarding us better for missions. It is as if they want us to suffer in discomfort.

[sayatakagi]

We are not in our world, it's natural we are cut off from our funds. [ to be honest, Takagi Family probably didn't have any funds anymore after everything just... turned undead. ] They do not care who we are or what we have achieved.

We are all soldiers. [ she isn't that happy with the definition, but she has been fighting this war. Mostly, with the objective of returning home as fast as she can. ]

What did you do, before?

I ran my family's company.

[ She says it fairly business-like, but there's a look in her eyes like she's instead busy thinking about what the girl said. Here.. they're nothing but soldiers. No matter what they are. No matter what they left behind back home..

.. tch. She hates that thought. She has her own causes to fight for - but she doesn't mean anything about that even though it was one of her activities too. ]

I do get what you're saying though. [ Her tone sounds airy despite what she really feels. ] If they would have cared about who they are, they never would have taken the one running everything in the Natsume family.

You seem young, to be running your family. What sort of business Natsume family focused on, if you don't mind asking? [ While Saya had no intent on following her fathers footsteps, she was always curious about other people's decision of what to do, what job to take, since Saya was never sure - not that it matters now, but she is still curious ]

They aren't the ones that choose, not really. BREW does all that work for them. And BREW doesn't seem too picky about whom it brings here. Even criminals are welcome.
