Characters: Saya and YOU
Location: Around Death City
Rating: G
Time: 28th June, afternoon
Description: Saya is shopping around Death City
Today was meant for shopping. After being kidnapped, after trying to murder her friends, after being triggered once more, after the gala… she was just exhausted. Of everything, really. Not only she couldn’t sleep (she had chronic insomnia by now, it seems. Not being able to sleep is usual to her) but the events exhausted her psychologically.
So today was a day to shop. She asked Keroro to leave work earlier (and bought few mangas to make up for it) and decided to go on a shopping spree. Mostly to buy things she needed, sure. It doesn’t invalidate the fact that she picked something nice to wear, as well as carrying a backpack (where she keeps several necessary goods in case something bad happens. Like an apocalypse).
OPTIONS:
a) Window shopping and realizing she needs more money in her life
b) Buying her groceries (and a bottle of wine...)
c) Cakes time! Eating cake, reading manga and looking a bit too nervous
d) On the way back home, her groceries fall on the floor

AT THE BAKERY
After shopping, the girl heads towards a bakery to grab something to eat. And probably buy a cake for dessert. Though she is carrying several bags, she doesn’t seem too bothered with the weight as she adds another bag – that has a cheesecake to eat later. What she asks to eat now is a small lemon cake and a cup of jasmine tea.
Eventually she sits down at a table, eating her cake and drinking tea, bags sitting close to her feet. As she does so, she reads manga – something similar to MPD psycho – though she isn’t paying that much attention to it. Saya seems to look around nervously quite a lot, even when she is supposedly relaxing.
Mostly, it’s because she is nervous. Saya can’t really relax. She doesn’t know how to anymore. ]

Which doesn't last for too long though, as once she takes a glance at Saya, her curiosity is replaced with a look of concern.]
Um, pardon me, but are you okay, miss?
no subject
Eh? I'm alright.
[ sort of. probably not, if someone is asking her that ] I don't look alright, do I?

I can't relax, no matter what. [ saya sighs. She didn't expect to be so obvious ] When I'm busy, I look a lot better, I swear.
no subject
[She's not one to push further, so she'll take her word for it.]
By the way, what are you reading?
no subject
I'm Saya Takagi, by the way- And you?
Hope it's ok to jump in here seperately?
Petite cakes with fancy frosting all fru fru seemed like such a waste of cash but they smelled freaking great. And there were cupcakes too, and little cinnamon rolls and huge tits... woah. Nice. Hey wait, he knew those tits.
He lifted his eyes to a furtively glancing girl and remembered her vaugley from somewhere. Now where was it? As he tried to remember that screaming match he either didn't realize or didn't care that he was staring and probably still had a bit of saliva on his lip from the smell of the cakes. Man he wanted cake but he didn't want to waste money on it.
Of course! <3
Which didn't work because then he was staring.
And staring.
Staring.
WILL YOU STOP THAT YOU, PERVERTED VIOLINIST?
Finally the girl put her book down. "What do you want?"
:)))
"Some cake actually." He replied, missing the problem completely. He walked in and sat down beside her. "I know you. Why do I know you?" He leaned in squinting at her and tilting his head a little like the new perspective might jog his memory.
no subject
-he sat down.
"Perhaps because we have talked before. And I work at Metokkori R." Saya grabbed her cup of tea to take a sip. "You have a really bad memory."
no subject
It's probably notable that he still doesn't ask for her name. He's been really bad about names here. Speaking of costumes, she'd be a great person to get into one. Huh, all kinds of possibilities. Hey wait, didn't she get all bitchy one the network that one time? What had they been arguing about again?
no subject
Saya doesn't care if he asks for her name or not; honestly, she already knows his name (because she knows he works at Metokkori R and knows her co-workers) and though they got bitchy all up on each other's face last time (and no matter how idiots annoy her so much), Saya is strangely.. patient. and doesn't mind talking to the same person she screamed at, again.
no subject
He turned back to Says and tried to remember what they were talking about. Oh yeah, glow sticks. It's a good thing she's feeling patient. "This guy dressed up like a homeless snowball told me about them. They'll make costumes really awesome." He announced eagerly.
no subject
"Guy dressed up like a homeless snowball......." what in the name of. "How do glow sticks make anything fashionable? They are used to clubbing."
no subject
"Who said anything about fashiona- wait you can club people with them?" He hadn't realized they were that big. That seemed unweildly. But also kind of cool. "And you can get them at the grocery store?" He leaned in closer to her, expression eager and serious all at once. Hanging on her every word now.
no subject
But either way - "But yeah. They are used to dance in clubs, because there is low light and it gives the dancing a nice effect, I guess." there was, though, a pause.
"Unless you want to use a glowstick as a light source in case you are exploring or in case a catastrophe happens. Then - that's a whole different type of glowsticks and you can't really buy them so easily."
no subject
For exploring too? Those must be pretty bright. Like torch bright. Huh, maybe you could adjust the brightness?
no subject
"You can dance and drink" and meet desperate people. "I personally don't see the appeal."
no subject
"Wait wait, for drinking too? Will you show me one?" Booze AND glow sticks? He wanted to see this.
no subject
"Those are called nigh clubs which means they operate late into the night. A nightclub has a dance floor besides a bar and drinks and even sometimes bar games like billiards." Saya pushed her glasses up her nose.
"I can show you, but not enter. They are not exactly a quiet place and they are definitively something I don't like."
no subject
He blinks. "I thought chicks liked to dance." How loud must they be to drive a girl away. "You don't like the booze?"
no subject
But yeah, it could be described as a tavern with a dance floor. She really wasn't an expert on the subject, though - one of the few things Saya doesn't know much about.
"I- I'm just lightweight! I can't handle drinks." and dancing in front of strangers is embarrassing. At least like that; she is used to classical dances like Waltz.
no subject
"So have that bubbly stuff." He waved a hand dismissively speaking of pop which he still just calls bubbly stuff. "You don't have to down ale."
no subject
"It's called soda." uh... going with someone to a nightclub. Someone like Hamel to a nightclub. Why, Hamel?
"You know, you usually go to nightclubs with a date, a girl you like. Or to pick a date there."
