Time: 6am to 9am
Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on May 27th.

Right. Okay, that's good. I mean, the afternoon and evening are usually our busier shift. And I'll definitely remember to give a bit of leeway on anyone who's part of Stein's classes as far as the afternoon shifts are concerned.

I don't really know all that much about other things but fighting. [He doesn't know how to accept compliments.]

It's all because I spent so many years at the US army. I have them to thank for that.

Anyways, I had a bad experience partnering up with a Weapon last time. [If anything that whole thing with Sion was a good learning experience for him.]

I don't want to make the mistake of pairing up with someone I'm incompatible with again. There's no interference between us though. That's always a good sign.

[Barnaby looked over, doing his best to muster up a smile, however it looked only half-capable and rather stiff. The other individual had spoken to him... Barnaby hadn't been expecting that, in all honesty, but something kept him rooted there, kept him talking.]

[Atem keeps himself off to the side of the area reserved for finding a partner as if he were only half committed, half searching while the other half is already engaged. Only he isn't prepared to admit it. He sticks to observing the gathering, surreptitiously, from over the edge of a book where he busies himself with scrawling notes. Hurried strokes forming elegant glyphs there would be illegible to all save himself.

He doesn't go out of his way to be unsociable, however. If he catch the eye of a familiar face he still has a smile and a nod in reserve. Even for someone like Cupid who he's only met in passing.] Morning...

[For a goddess in a form that cannot speak, it's of great help. Ghoulia's close now, but there still exist other bits of static. The resonance is still balanced.]

If you wish for a better grip on your weapon while using it one handed, flip it around. That way, instead of your pinky being the primary force behind keeping the weapon in your hand, it will be your pointer and middle finger. However, you would have to get used to fighting with a reversed grip.

Too many of them, I think, since he's the only shinigami. Until recently most of all he could do was just keep the city safe from Madness and just take care of the ones who came close.
