Placing his hand lightly on Yamazaki's back, Sai smiles, "What a nice view, don't you think?"

Yamazaki closes his eyes and nods.

"Yes, it is beautiful. Are you sure you don't want to take a closer look at it?"

"I can see fine from here."

Sai rests his head on Yamazaki's shoulder as he looks out at the view of Death City.

I'm sorry, I love your Sai, but Zaki just doesn't want to die like this...:(

"Great. It's a nice view, indeed. And now we're going home."

Yamazaki turns on heels and walks back to the stairs, dragging Sai along, smiling at him.

"It was fun, but I have this weird feeling that you were serious about throwing me out that window, kid."

Aw, don't be sorry! It's perfectly okay!

Sai looks kind of put-out about being dragged, but allows it for the time being, "Didn't I say you were just going to hang out of it?"

Besides, if Yamazaki had died that would have caused lots of problems for Sai. He doesn't want to go to jail. It's boring in there.

"You know I have this odd feeling you're tend to be a liar sometimes, aren't you? But it's OK, I did enjoy it, more or less."

But Yamazaki wants to offer something for ruining Sai's mood.

"Don't you want an ice-cream or a cake? We could go to Death by Pastry when you feel so."

"Only idiots would resort to lying when all I have to do is omit parts of the truth and let people fill in the blanks by themselves."

That way he doesn't even have to keep his lies straight. Sai doesn't look very impressed by the offerings, but he'll bring that up later.

"Cake."

[anpan_tan]

"Are you saying you did want to throw me out the window you just didn't tell me because you were afraid I'd run away if I find out your little plan? "

Yamazaki makes a note for himself about Sai being a notorious liar and possibly a threat. Leaving the tower seems very urgent for him now.

"What kind of cake do you want? Do you like it with cyan?"

"I told you I'd just let you hang out the window and that I wouldn't let you fall, didn't I?"

Sai would be disappointed to learn that Yamazaki only thinks that he's possibly a threat. The fact that Yamazaki would even think that he's a liar though...that's useful. He'll keep the information in mind for a later date.

"Cyan?"

"Yes, you did, but I couldn't believe you, you see. Sometimes when I look at you I just can not think of you like someone who likes to drop people out from high places."

Maybe one day Sai can prove Yamazaki that he's not just a possibly threat.

"Potassium cyanide. Is that the name of that poison?"

"If you drop them from high places it's really difficult to put the pieces into a box afterwards."

There would always be bits missing which kind of defeats Sai's purpose in killing them in the first place.

"Why would I want it with something like that?"

Ah.

"Unless...you wanted to eat a cake with cyanide in it? Internal asphyxia through interfering with your body's ability to extract oxygen using your red blood cells. Did you want to try that?"

He looks very excited about it.

*laughs*

"To put them into a box? Do you mean a coffin? Yes, I guess it is difficult. It must be hard to collect the...pieces...Really, why do you do things like that?"

Yamazaki tries to speak as casual as it would be totally normal to talk about picking up body parts from the pavement.

"No, I'm not eager to eat cakes with cyanide. I don't like when things including so many X in their names happen with my body. But you can get one if you'd like to."

"I guess you could call it a coffin if you wanted."

Since that was their final resting place. Most people found it difficult to think of the contents of the box as being human once though.

"If I got one, it would be to make you eat it, so I'll pass."

[anpan_tan]

"I don't want to call them anything, I call them coffin because that's their name. Right?"

He has no idea what Sai is speaking about.

"Would it be very boring to eat those cakes without the cyanide?"

"Most people I know woulc have called them red boxes."

Because they were made of glass and perfectly showed off their contents.

"Since my body isn't like it was, I think it would be a bit too exciting to eat the cakes with cyanide."

[anpan_tan]

"Red boxes? what kind of red boxes?"

Sai is full of mysteries! And Yamazai doesn't know yet that he does not want to know about those boxes.

"A bit too exciting? No, it would be horrible if...if something happened to you."

"Glass boxes full of someone ground up very fine."

Because this is totally an appropriate topic before going for cake, yes?

"Really? Even if I'm a liar?"

[anpan_tan]

"I don't think I want to know more about your boxes..."

No, this is a topic for dark and stormy nights!

"Yes. Even if you're a liar it would be terrible."

"But you asked first, didn't you? Ai gets them made special somewhere."

Nah. Dark and stormy nights are all well and good, but there's something just as scary as horrible things happening in broad daylight and knowing that there was no way to stop them from happening.

"What if I'm a killer?"

[anpan_tan]

"It's true...But it's better if I forgot about your boxes. I'm working for the Watch, you know."

Yeah, that horror when someone beats you from behind and takes all your clothes just to leave you there on the screen all naked. It is creepy!

"You're a killer, then. Do you want to kill me?"

[i_am_not_eleven]

"I haven't actually made a real one in a while, so you couldn't do anything about me even if you did know."

Sai has never had that happen to him, since he's usually the one attacking other people.

"Not yet."

[anpan_tan]

"Do you mean you didn't...made boxes since you're here?"

Sai is a lucky guy!

"Not...yet? So you do want to kill me sooner or later?"

"I have. Just not real ones."

He made ones filled with strawberry and cake batter though.

"I might."

[anpan_tan]

"Annnd what's the difference between a real and a fake one?"

Yamazaki likes strawberry!

"Why? Did I do something wrong for you?"

"I usually make real ones using people."

Then Sai will be sure to give him one of his strawberry red boxes some day. They're very small though.

"Not yet."
