Description: No matter how strange things got, you still needed to work.



They had had to close the store for a day or two as they cleaned up the graffiti, and continued to open despite having the vandals tied up outside their door. They didn't open during the riots (it would have been foolish to do that).

At the end of everything, though, the doors were opened again. Life went on, after all.

Welcome to Metokkori R, a store where they sell more flavours of instant ramen than you can shake a stick at and various other Japanese goods and snacks. Or maybe you were more interested in coming into the Hikan Café, a family style restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. There is a mysterious third store, but, unfortunately, recent events have delayed its opening.

As usual, the stores all accept communicators as payment~.

[Having no wallet, L pulls the wad of bills out of his pocket and starts peeling them away from the whole like leaves. He counts out $160 and sets it on the counter.

Altogether, he really doesn't seem like he handles money very much.]
