Location: Near the top of Shibusen's stairs, so like this.

Time: May 15th, morning

Description: With the riots dying down, Steve wants a little time to draw.


With the people being rescued and the citizens slowly calming down, Steve has started to relax a bit. He'll probably never fully relax, especially in a time of war, but he knows that when there's some available downtime, it's good to take it. Rest up and refocus so that he'll be ready for the next mission or crisis that occurs. Back in WWII, it was a blessing to get a full nights sleep. Although the citizen unrest is not really similar to fighting HYDRA, it was still rather chaotic.

Since morning training is still canceled, Steve has brought his sketchpad with him to an area that's near the top of Shibusen's long stairway. He hasn't really gotten much of a chance to draw Death City from this view, mostly because of other priorities that needed to be taken care of. However, drawing is still one of his favorite hobbies and luckily for him, it's something that he can do in any world well one would hope at least. With a pencil in hand, he flips to a blank page and begins to outline the city below him. It's not a city he is completely familiar with, but it's still something he wants to remember.

Although, his sketchbook is already somewhat filled with pictures of people and places he doesn't want to forget.

"As if I'd just sit around doing nothing." Giroro really didn't like that feeling. "I will need to find someone to go with me, though."

"Haven't found a partner?" Steve pauses for a moment. "I'm a Meister, if you're a Weapon."

"A lot of the Meisters I worked with before have been sent back." One of them was even someone he'd considered partnering up with at one point. He paused to think about it.

"How good are you with a rifle?"

"Seems common around here. Manage to find someone that you can work well with, but then they're suddenly sent back." It's a little disheartening really, but just gotta keep on going. And well, it hasn't really happened to Steve before either.

"Guess it depends on the model, but think I'm a decent shot overall. Even though shields are my primary weapon, I've used guns before."

"Someone really needs to take a look at BREW and make sure it's not malfunctioning." He would do it if he knew anything about this sort of stuff. Damn it, he never thought he'd actually want to see that curry loving freak here.

"That's good enough. I know how to adjust my Meister's aim so as long as you're at least a decent shot we shouldn't have any problems." Assuming they could resonate anyway.

Steve briefly wonders if Tony or Bruce could look into BREW. They always have a great understanding about these type of things, although a Demon Tool might be a different ballgame for them. Still, it couldn't hurt to ask them later. "Unfortunately, only a few people understand how that operates. Afraid it's a little beyond me as well."

"I can adapt to weapons rather quickly, so I think that we can pull through." Steve pauses for a moment, well the technicalities seem to be okay. The next step would be... "Would you want to practice resonating soon?"

"As annoying as it is, it would be even worse if it was something just anyone could understand." One BREW is already trouble enough.

"I'm free most of the day except from midnight to six."

"Can't disagree with that, an object as powerful as BREW would definitely go south in the wrong hands." It doesn't help that BREW reminds him of the Tesseract... and that object has been in the power of Nazis and even 'gods' now. They don't need a situation like that and frankly Steve is tired of seeing that cube around. It figures that one of the last things he wanted to see in the "present time" ends up happening.

"Do you attend morning training? We can practice then."

"Hn." Powerful weapons in the wrong hands was always a big problem. It was doubly worse when the weapon seemed to possess some kind of sentience.

"I do." Giroro actually lived in a tent in the park not far from where morning training was held. "I will look for you there tomorrow."

"I'll see you then, Corporal." He'll definitely bring his A-game tomorrow.

"Ah." He salutes, before turning towards Shibusen. "I should get going."

Steve returns the salute. "Won't hold you up any longer."

He holds his position for a moment longer before nodding. After that he turned and left.
