[ semi-closed] they just keep trickling in
Characters: New guests and their volunteer helpers
Location: Around Shibusen
Rating: G
Time: April 19-20
Description: Another small BREW hiccup results in another "round" of unexpected newcomers into the city.
Just like last time, a very small group of individuals has appeared within Death City, and just like last time, no one even knew about it. Fortunately things have been relatively calm these past few days and it's an especially warm day today, so at least any impromptu help and touring should go smoothly.
[ooc: Just like last time, this is a consolidated log for the volunteer intro buddy system. Either the new character or the volunteer can start the thread. For each thread, indicate the character names in the subject line. Whether or not another character is pulled in is up to the players, BUT the threads are closed to the initial partnered characters (hence the "semi-closed" label.
The new characters are also free to start a thread with one another if they so wish.]

Probably the most important is going to be where your housing is going to be and the mall, since you can get almost anything you need at the mall for free as long as you show your mirror. Sort of like a stipend for BREW having brought you here!

He would pay any amount of money if it meant he could know what had happened to Sera.
Though speaking of killing demons... Serph stops suddenly, frowning and staring at his hands.
There's something missing. A familiar feeling he'd long grown accustomed to just isn't there anymore.]

...Something the matter?

Something is... different.

Serph stares at Bakura for another long moment.]
The hunger is gone.

What sort of hunger?

I can't become a demon.
[Still flexing his fingers, as if this will do something.]

...but not appropriate for him to be fanboying out over at the moment. Even if he's not able to keep it from showing on his face.]]
A lot of times that sort of thing happens, since this world is different than the worlds people came from, a lot of things that worked back where everyone came from don't work here. It gets translated into Weapon and Meister abilities, since that how things like that work in this world.

Argilla would be thrilled to lose the hunger that drove all of them, and he had to admit that knowing he wouldn't lose control and devour anyone was a wonderful thing. But it also meant that he lost all the power that came with his transformation, and that might end up a little troubling.
He is automatically trying to initiate the transformation still, and when he feels something happening in regards to a physical change he goes with it just to see if he's actually wrong...
...and ends up as a large switchblade lying on the ground. Not as planned.]

Heeeeh, that's really impressive! Finding your Weapon form that swiftly...!
[[Though if this person were used to transforming regularly, it would make sense...]]
Can you change back as easily? You're already at a real advantage, compared to most people who arrive!
no subject
Changing back might be a little more complicated, seeing as he's not entirely sure what he's changed into in the first place.
His efforts result in him flopping around a bit like a fish out of water.]

Try just relaxing. It feels sort of like letting go, when you revert, since you also revert back to normal if you get too tired or pass out or anything like that. Which is good since it means you won't ever get stuck!

The knife lays there for a couple minutes, then there's an almost audible *pop* as Serph reappears, sitting on the ground and looking mildly baffled.]

The same applied to turning into a demon and back, really. Though that was more instinctual.]
