Description: Another small BREW hiccup results in another "round" of unexpected newcomers into the city.

Just like last time, a very small group of individuals has appeared within Death City, and just like last time, no one even knew about it. Fortunately things have been relatively calm these past few days and it's an especially warm day today, so at least any impromptu help and touring should go smoothly.

[ooc: Just like last time, this is a consolidated log for the volunteer intro buddy system. Either the new character or the volunteer can start the thread. For each thread, indicate the character names in the subject line. Whether or not another character is pulled in is up to the players, BUT the threads are closed to the initial partnered characters (hence the "semi-closed" label.

The new characters are also free to start a thread with one another if they so wish.]

[Again she nods and looks up at the school. She knows exactly what brought him here, but she tossed her head back to the city. Not much to do about it except settle in here.]

[He follows her gaze back toward the school--so she knows he came out of there, maybe?--and then glances to where she gestures. The city below him?]

I can get answers down there?

[She huffs and nods, standing up. Nose down and up, she's trying to insist he follows her. She'll take him to a place to find out.]

Ah, follow you? Okay. Thank you. [He stands up and walks to her side to indicate that he's ready to go.]

[motherofthesun]

[Her tail swishes as she stares up at him, but then, her attentions down as she begins to trot down the stairs.]

[He follows down the stairs, taking in the environment of Death City as he does. He sees a lot of tightly packed buildings...and what looks to be a common motif of skulls.

Then he looks up at the sky and sees the sun. He jumps in surprise and nearly falls down the stairs, but manages to regain his footing in time.]

This place is weird!

[She pauses and looks back at him, confused. Oh, he looked up huh? He'd get more information about that when they got to the apartments and to someone who could talk to him.]

[The unfrightened reaction from his companion is disconcerting, to say the least.]

I'm not just going crazy, right? You can see the face, too?

[motherofthesun]

[Again, several nods. Everyone sees the face.]

[sinningsaint]

[with a little sigh of relief] Well, good...at least it's not just me. [But he's definitely making a concerted effort not to look at the sun again as they reach the bottom of the stairs.]

[She waits for him, ear flicking once, but then continues ahead. The communal isn't that far from here.]
