[OPEN] Love Shack
Characters: OPEN
Location: Nocturne Bazaar
Rating: Gen… Maybe. Don't do anything you wouldn't tell your mother about!
Time: April 3rd, April 4th
Description: The "attraction" was quite the hit last time. Who will you find yourself shacked up with now?
The island the Bazaar sits on is certainly big, but who thought they'd be able to fit an entire river on top of it? The line for the ride is just as large as you'd think it'd be, and it's been split in two with a tall screen to prevent people in both sides from seeing the other.
The staffers operating the line don't seem to care about making it grow; they're literally pulling people unlucky enough to wander too close and shoving them in a line before they can protest. You could try to get away, but the rest of the crowd's pushing impatiently forward and before long, you're up.
You might as well just get it over with. Hopefully the company's nice.
((ooc; this log takes place over both the first day and the second day. please use the subject line indicator [ NAME | DATE | OPEN/CLOSED ] and keep in mind that during the second day, characters will likely be under the effects of growing madness!))

Pharaoh is a title and a perfectly acceptable one in this case. [Said rather emphatically, in case there was to be any doubts that this was the end of the matter. All those excessive hearts and flowers sure are starting to look a lot more interesting now.]

The pharaoh wasn't one for small talk either; he lived a life set above those in his charge. But there was a time when that hadn't been so, when he had been capricious and amiable. He never lost his inquisitive streak but it grew imperceptible over time.
Leaning back, he watches Lily peripherally. She was older but it was difficult to pin down exactly how much so. And regardless, she was rather attractive so one had to wonder. When he speaks again it's almost with a touch of apology.]
I imagine this must seem like rather poor company compared to some.

[And finally the end of the tunnel was in sight! But again, the boat stopped and the lights went off. Lily sighed.] Not this again.
[She sighed and advised him...] Don't stand up. [Because when she did the same before, she ended up falling over into Lezard's lap when the boat suddenly started again. And that photographer at the end of the tunnel had gotten a picture of it!]

And it's a good thing for her warning too because he would have fallen for it. Literally. Instead when the boat gives another lurch, he gripes the edge tightly and settles back down into his seat.]
You have to wonder what they hope to accomplish with all this. I would be rather sad if it were all for their own amusement.
[He shakes his head. What good is blackmail that no one is interested in? When the boat comes to its final resting place, he's the first one out, offering a hand to Lily, with little concern for what the photographers want to make of it.]
