Description: Training takes place every morning in the park to prepare the guests of the city for the ongoing war. It's handwaved most days, but approximately once a month this gets played out in a log. This log takes place on March 29th.

Finding a Partner: An area for unpartnered Weapons and Meisters to mingle in. Overseen by

Medics: A place for the medics to linger, recruit, and help anyone that's gotten hurt. Helping out are CR-S01, Rosalia Rossellini.
Watch: A place for the watch members to linger, recruit, and train. Interested observers welcome!

Well, I don't know about the answer, but I like to think I have at least one when the situation calls for it.

[It's dark and even at this distance it makes his skin crawl. That's how it feels. Yuugi concentrates on keeping his own grip firm, even though a part of him wants to pull away as the other Bakura's wavelength seeps through him like a cold mist.]

I can feel it. [That's about all he wants to say out loud. No doubt the spirit can sense his wariness, his urge to shrink back and escape this discomfort. No doubt he can also sense the flames which override that wariness, the burning determination in Yuugi's soul that the other Bakura himself re-kindled.]

[And so Yamazaki turned to a sword. He disappeared in a light blue cloud, Light heard a loud, popping sound and a sword fell down from the cloud. The sword yelled at Light.]

You are lucky. I only have the friends that I have made here. I haven't seen anyone from my home ever since I arrived in this place. [He missed the people back in his home world. Especially his Granny.]

Gasp! If this were a horror movie, surely this wouldn't be out of place! Oh dear, I hope it isn't one! [[Trying hard not to laugh, expecting to be smacked playfully for that]]

[ At that.. she pauses, honestly. And she stares at him, raising an eyebrow, as if she's trying to determine whether he's making a joke or not. .. But then again, he seems awfully serious about it.. ]

The King of the Dead, huh.. I guess I should be saying 'your majesty' then. [ okay, now that's meant in a deadpan way again. ] Can't say I've ever met a king before, let alone one that rules over the dead.

"Length of time spent searching has very little to do with it, for a certain type of individual," L asserted, hooking his thumb inside the pouch of his cheek and allowing it to distort his speech. "Very often, these things either work, or they do not... I know this better than anyone."

His expression was very nearly predatory as he regarded Light for a brief moment. Then it faded, leaving his face bland and childish once more.

"I've experienced a lot of failed attempts at resonance since arriving, Light. My successes have been lackluster, with one exception. Surely you see why I can't just drop this. Or, perhaps you'll have to experience failure yourself before you'll understand.... in which case, I can be patient, of course."

[He thinks he hears something--or he can't be sure if he did, if he just imagined Rosalia's tinny voice crying out for help. Either way, the ribbon's kind of moving on its own right there, against the breeze, so Kurapika's pretty certain that it's a weapon tangled in the branches above him.

(He remembers Rise all of a sudden, Rise-as-a-veil falling asleep on a window ledge and getting blown by a gust of wind to somewhere rather inconvenient.)

Now what to do? He can just jump up and snatch it out of the branch, no problem, but--Kurapika takes a step closer and places himself directly under, and sees that the ribbon's pretty entangled in a mess of twigs. What if it's caught on a thorn somewhere? Will the hapless weapon unravel if he yanks on it the wrong way?

He suppresses a shudder and tilts his head up to address the other weapon.]

Hey, do you know how to change back?

[He caught the look he had and he did feel apprehensive about having caused him any sort of alarm.]

Yes. I imagine there would be a lot of people passing out during this training if there were not adequate supplies here to feed everyone. It makes my job easier.

Last time I checked, it's the same old bullshit here. I don't see any of these fuckers doing anything that would change anything. Not only that, but everybody keeps disappearing...like my fucking partner...AGAIN!

[He was obviously still pissed over this.]

'Again'? [He doesn't say that he thinks that only a fool wouldn't expect to be let down by their partner. His reasons for thinking so are personal and he still remembers that Winters is quick to rise to the challenge, so to say. Which isn't as amusing when Bakura is within his reach and without his powers.]

[Six nods his agreement.] But it'd be best to build up your stamina in that form before we do any hours'-long training or anything similar.

[And he'll follow, easily catching up to her with long-legged strides and falling into step with her.]

[Had he heard her? Did she manage to wave? Either way, Kurapika had responded.]

[Rosalia tried to nod as best she could too. The only thing was, she wouldn't be able to land on her feet.]

[He nods, knowing she can feel the affirmation of her words even if she can't see the movement. He's quiet for a long time, content in the silence and the peaceful yet hesitant connection shared through their resonance. If the answer was to ease into things, then it's no wonder things have been going wrong for him for some time. He does seem to have a knack for rushing blindly into things.]

Yako, are you the kind of person that thinks a lot?

Yeah? That'd be fun! The only thing I'd be doing later is sleeping!

[It's been quite a while since he went to lunch with anyone, and there's something oddly inviting about the offer when coming from Auron.]

I-if you... if you want to. [He's surprised Bakura is asking to do it again already. Amazing isn't something he feels at all right now.]

[Hm. Right.] Yeah. I'm going to try to do that as quickly as I can, though. I'll work out more, physically, here than what I did at Providence, which should be easy since I don't have work to do anymore.

I'll practice my Weapon form, too, as often as I can. I don't want to hold you back.

[Well, there are times when he pretty much does nothing but watches the sky and thinks about life, but... whenever something happens, he just acts instead of thinks.]

Is there a way you can, er, train yourself to use your head?

Well...not really, I don't think. It's something that just sort of...happens. WEhen you don't think, sometimes bad things happen. And unfortunately, it's the memory of those bad things that is your teacher and trainer. Nobody likes making the same mistakes twice.
