"Correct," he said. Now that she'd ceased advancing on him, Zeratul let his gaze drift off to elsewhere in the library. Not that he wasn't aware of her movements, but he wanted this conversation to end.

"You be'a funny one," Cybele said. "You seek answers. That be why you be in d'is cover of books, but you don't be seekin' well."

for now. She smirked though, and rose up enough from the floor to reach over the desk to grab at the 'non-fiction' book she'd pulled from the shelves before finding this curiosity.Tossing it over to him, Cybele settled back on the floor as she said, "D'is buildin' be filled with books, but d'at doesn't mean they be all right."

"The truth is ever evading us all," he said. "And it cannot be discerned in just one place."
no subject
"And what truth you d'ink be evadin' me, boyo?" Cybele asked.

"The simple truth that I wish to be left in peace," he rumbled.

"'Left in peace', but the BREW brought you here for more than peace," Cybele said before stretching her arms above her head. Hearing the joints pop in satisfaction, he half-purred in happiness at the feeling before shaking her limbs and pushing herself up to stand. "When you can't find your answers, you'll come sniffing your way back."
Those who wanted knowledge about their enemies usually did. Flicking her tail to one side, the Witch gave a little shrug before offering, "You won't be findin' how to fight the enemy in one of those. Best you ask one yerself at the class."
There was another little shrug before she turned around and began to head out. While it hadn't been as entertaining as she'd thought, the big blue giant had provided some.

Zeratul simply turned his attention back to his books, letting her go her own way. The city was large, but it was a contained space. He knew they'd cross paths again, but maybe by then he'd have a better understanding of the situation here.
It was a few minutes before he realized the book she'd tossed him had been left behind. He wasn't certain what the subject was, but he couldn't deny his curiosity. The book went to join the pile he had started, waiting to be plundered for its insights.
