Description: The Zone Leaders take time off to go to Russia and take on a kishin egg. Will they be successful?





After warming up with a morning workout, Auron and Koujurou left for their mission, this time in a colder country called Russia. His red coat helped keep him warm in the chilled air.

"What's a Faberge egg?" Auron asked as he looked over the mission notes.

Practice makes perfect, Auron.

Kojuro's tone was jovial; he was very, very pleased, and also a bit relieved that everything had gone smoothly.

The kishin egg, however, was not. After a moment of shock, it attempted to rush at them again.

Auron had enough time to get to his feet, lift up his sword and swipe the kishin egg across the face. It screeched in pain, wailing in agony.

He had to block one flailing limb with the sword. The Soul Armor protected them from injury but it they'd definitely feel bruised later on.

It's totally all right. /hugs tight ♥

Kojuro, in the meantime, monitored the proceedings carefully, even as Auron swung him around. The battle would be over soon, from the looks of it. Their opponent was weakening.

I might need a new car. D:

It became a dance to weave in and around the monster's attacks and swipes. As soon as Auron found an opening, he took it, slicing into the kishin egg's unprotected neck.

And Kojuro's blade went right through the neck; contact from the Black Dragon sent fatal electric shocks through the rest of the kishin's body. Its death shriek was horrific, but short.

Moments later, it was shifting and melting away, leaving nothing behind save its soul.

Kojuro returned to his human form then, and glanced towards Auron.

"You are not injured, I hope?"

He had not picked up on any, at any rate. His healing ability had probably already swept away the ache that would have resulted from their landing.

Sucks but on the other hand, I would have to get one eventually

"Nothing permanent. Just that landing on my knees was...hunh." Well they had been hurting and might still be a little roughed up. But they didn't hurt to bend.

He pointed at his partner. "We're taking the stairs this time."

that is true. /squishes anyway! oh, let's wrap this up here!

That only made Kojuro chuckle. He nodded, and moved to eat the soul before turning back to Auron.

"Very well. Let us go."
