[Event] Invasion!
Characters: OPEN to everyone!
Location: All over Death City
Rating: Various
Time: February 2nd
Description: Witches have invaded and are attacking the city!
The attack, when it comes, happens quickly enough that Death City would have been caught flat-footed had there been no prior warning, but it's not completely unexpected because of the city's heightened state of alarm the past day. Warning sirens start sounding to alert the citizens and guests the moment a dark, slow-moving mass out in the desert to the south-east of Death City is spotted by Shibusen sentries. There's even time for civilians to run and hide before the mass is identified as an army of what looks like decaying, shambling corpses. The city's defenders are slow to move, however; most of them are distracted and are having trouble dealing with the black blood in their bodies. While agents are gathering to head out to deal with the zombie threat, that's when the witches make their move.
Portals begin opening in the skies above the city, disgorging hideous familiars: bulbous spiders and leggy ants the size of dogs. They drop hundreds of feet down into the streets and alleyways of Death City, and scuttle off in search of victims. The spiders are poisonous and can spin copious amounts of web to capture their targets, the ants spit acid that cause agonizing, paralyzing pain. Their masters bear down on the city in a cloud of black shadows--massive ravens strong enough to carry off adult men. There are five witches, women on broomsticks, beautiful if not for their crazed grins and obvious glee at the chaos descending upon the city. At some unknown signal--maybe the cackling from a couple of them--they dive in concert and disappear into different areas of the city.
Their masterful plan has begun!

The funny thing is that Kanji is around 4 feet taller than Giroro. XD
When he had to land for a moment somewhere close to the person (a Pekoponian male) he looked up and gave him a quick nod, acknowledging him as an ally before moving to take down another zombie.
Hopefully they'll be able to clear this area without any complications...
Yyyup.
The teen focused, slammed a fist into the face of the closest zombie within range, then adjusted his soul wavelength, forming a shockwave to his right to shove that group back and off their feet to clear some room.
"Meister! You?" He'd asked without a thought. If this was a Guest he could resonate with, their strength would increase and turn this entire struggle around. If not, they would just have to make do. The little dude was fast and knew how to get the job done, Kanji'd grant him that.

He caught sight of the shockwave and its effects from the corner of his eye and, you know what? That was pretty cool. Still, he wasn't about to be out-done by a Pekoponian.
"Weapon!" He called out, right before he landed again, this time standing back-to-back with Kanji. Hn. Who would have thought he'd ever fight back-to-back with a Pekoponian who wasn't Natsumi.
Though if we were being technical it was really more like back-to-leg.

"Cool. How 'bout we step things up, give the Witch's 'forces' somethin' to shit their pants over?" Well, what better time to practice being able to resonate on the fly than now? The teen hoped the... wait, no, that's a frog, isn't it? ...knew his Weapon form.
no subject
Giroro hadn't approached any of the instructors at morning training, but what he did do was lurk in the shadows to listen in on other people's lessons before practising by himself. So as it happened? He did know his Weapon form.
A part of him still wasn't sure about working with a Pekoponian like this. On the other hand, this was a battle and the thought of being able to kick some serious ass was very appealing.
"Hn. You better know what you're doing." And that's all the warning he gives before Giroro's shifting into his Weapon form. In the moment before the transformation was complete, when he was only the vague shaped of a gun, he moved so that he would be within reach.
A moment later and he'd fully transformed into a beam rifle with "G66" printed on the side, with the picture of a small yellow skull beside it. Better catch him before he falls to the ground.
no subject
The teen caught him easily enough as the transformation completed, and without hesitation his soul wavelength reached, centered, and was prepared for a connection. Kanji stepped back as the zombies made their approach, and he lifted Giroro's weapon form level.
Let's go!
