Description: Missions 151 and 152, crossposted to LJ
The clinic is a buzz of activity from beginning to end, with the doctors and their staff preparing everything that could be needed by their agents in Europe, and clearing away the unnecessaries. Food is cooked large-scale because no one will have time to do it later, and hospital supplies are moved around to make more space for beds.
Shibusen's scouts and supportive agents are in charge of dragging the wounded back to Death City, and they come and go for random errands. The atmosphere is understandably tense, and things don't get better when the first of the injured are brought in.

"So, how have you been lately, minus the battle wounds? I hear you've been pretty busy, but I don't think I've actually seen you all year."
And yes, he plans to be here awhile.
no subject
"Well, I suppose. I've been greeting new arrivals, waking up for training, attending class, working at the Agency... and Minato and myself had been on a mission streak. We'll have to put it on hold."
That's most of it. "What about yourself?"
no subject
"The usual? Morning training, working at the arcade, going on missions...." He could also add that he's been suffering from losing some of his closest friends all within the same week, but he'll just keep that to himself for now. "Oh, yeah, I got a dog two days ago."
no subject
"Is that right?" He brought it up himself. Naoto doesn't say anything else.
no subject
"What's it like living with Minato, anyway?" Because he expects to soon be living with a partner... or two.
no subject
"It's fine. Any messes he makes tend to stay to his room and my supplies are organized in mine." A pause; ugh, she wasn't going to be able to finish remodeling her watch any time soon. "Anyway, we have some basic house rules set up and have been managing."
no subject
"And is 'managing' a good thing? Or do you like it?"
no subject
She would shrug, but not right now. "And yes, managing is a good thing."
no subject
But, there's the rest of everything that he wants to catch up on, that for Takuto is the more important than how many missions she's been on or how many times she has to go shop for groceries each week.
"Have you actually done anything fun lately?"
no subject
"... Yes. I made an alarm clock." Though it was considerably small, it got the job done. No more of shuffling through her communicator's options and draining the battery.

no subject
It has helped the Agency.
no subject
Because Takuto would just buy one if he didn't like the alarm feature on his communicator.
"And what sort of field devices to you make?" It just sounds interesting.
no subject
There's no fun in buying one anyway.
"Depends. They were all disguised and I'd rather keep them classified."

Of course, she cane make new ones, but they wouldn't be much help. She's just another agent after all.
no subject
"Well, anyway, we should go out sometime. Get some coffee or just... I dunno, do something fun. And I still haven't even seen your new place, either." Because he does miss hanging out with her. "When you recover enough, of course."
no subject
It's still a concept foreign to her, but she's getting use to it.

Her hand and forearm would be bound for a while even after her release.
no subject
"How bad is it, anyway?" He gestures towards her arm, because all he can see is that it seems to have a cast and she hasn't been moving it.
no subject
Stuck to one hand sword training and small guns. Such is her life right now.
no subject
"That sounds pretty painful."
no subject
In other words, yes, she's sucking it up.
no subject
He shrugs and realizes that she's right. "Hey, do you know anything about training a dog?"
