Florence
Florence had been immediately evacuated the moment Shibusen Florence recieved word from Death City about the danger to its population. Most of its citizenry had left, but the sentries, guards, and local militia (and mafia) had stayed to bravely defend the city. These were unfortunately the ones being affected by madness, to turn against each other with the same determination they had attempted to show their duty.

The streets of central Florence are plunged in chaos, with torches lit and some structures burning. Those who have managed to resist the madness to try to salvage the museums are hardpressed to defend themselves against those that have become crazy, but the light rain in the afternoon helps.

Frankfurt
It's cold and grey in Frankfurt but the streets are busy with activity. Germany has deployed its military to assist Shibusen Frankfurt in evacuating the people into shelters and taking down those that have begun to go mad. The problem is that even with their haste, it's still not enough, and they are becoming more overwhelmed by the hour. A number of makeshift forts and shelter are scattered throughout the city, requiring help to get through the crazed people outside. Kishin eggs in random areas are taking people down one by one in a frenzied eating craze.

Prague

The Prague agents are unlucky today with the weather, with the cold and chances of light snow. They're given coats or jackets before they leave Shibusen Prague, but are quickly urged on to the northwest part of the city. The heaviest of the violence and damage becomes concentrated there by afternoon, with people boarded up in buildings and kishin eggs preying on the people outside.

Vienna

It's snowing lightly in Vienna when the agents come in, and it seems that the situation there had gone from all right to downright crazy in the minute it took for the madness wavelength to sweep the city just an hour before. There is chaos as people run from murderous citizens and the police try to take them down. The prisons are already overflowing, some with people desperate to protect themselves from attack.

It doesn't take long before the first kishin eggs appear, people who accidentally kill others and eat their souls in madness.

Shibusen would be delighted, I'm sure.

[ A quiet sigh, closing her eyes and letting herself fall into the shift within their next few steps. Too much effort, annoyingly, but she's not complaining past a soft curse; she's not that weak, even if she is dealing with human constraints. ]

I want some hot chocolate when we get home.

Granted. Would you like anything else with that?

[Ever the attentive partner, this one~]

You, Holly, and a vast pile of blankets on the sofa. With movies.

[ Which she will likely sleep through. But it's the company that counts, right? ]

Which movies?

[Ah, the dead bodies have started turning up. Is that how human guts look when they're exposed in these conditions? He had almost forgotten.]

... I dunno. What sort of movies are there?

[ She sniffs as they begin passing the evidence of the carnage, a bit of disdain at the mess. ]

I've only seen a few.

People make movies about anything and everything.

Anything at all?

[ Thinking, thinking. ]

What about candy?

Those may be childish.

I suppose. Why can't you pick them out? I don't even know where to start.

How about I draw up a short list, and you pick out what fascinates you?

That sounds much more manageable. You know the vague sort of things I like, anyways.

I do make it my business to.

[Along with, you know, stabbing you into things. Like yonder kishin.]

[ What a mess. She's not paying much attention to it, though; half-dozing against her partner's soul is far more comfortable right now. ]

I like it. Makes me feel special when you know the little things.

And have you come to learn some little things about me?

[La la la, kishin number two has been gutted.]

Mm. Well...

You don't like foods quite as sweet as I do, even if you do eat them sometimes. But when we're sharing a plate and we both like something, you leave most of it for me to eat, even if you'd eat it all if we weren't sharing.

[ Awfully drowsy for a battle, but that's alright, for now; He's got this battle under control, and she can take her time to think about those little Mukuro things. ]

You like to make sure I look nice in the mornings, even if I'm too tired to do it myself. Putting together everything, down to the bows and the stockings.

When I have bad dreams, you're always holding onto me when I wake up in the morning. Always feels like they stopped, though, because I never remember the end. But I do think I dream about you singing, or something silly like that. Like it interrupts the bad things.

[He's quiet for a while. It might be because he's busy decapitating a third kishin.]

I can teach you.

Teach me what?

[ Stretching a bit, making sure she doesn't actually fall asleep; that wouldn't be very useful at all. ]

The lullaby. [A beat.] And Italian, I suppose.

[ It takes her a long minute to process what he's saying. When the pieces finally come together, however, there's this odd little feeling of... what, exactly? She can't quite name it, but it's somehow warm and happy and surprising all at once.

He sings to her when she has nightmares. He... He really does his best to protect her, even from things that aren't real at all. ]

... Mukuro.

[ If only she were capable of more coherency right now. As it is, she just... drapes her soul onto his, the next best thing to an embrace as she lets him feel just how happy he's made her. ]

I'd love that. I'd love that a lot.

We're partners.

[And family, and two halves of a whole, and whatever else.

Words are never enough, eh?]

I know.

[ A soft nuzzle, a sigh. ]

And I love you. I love you very, very much.

Now, shall we channel all of these feelings into eliminating our enemies? We ought to go home as soon as we can.

Mm-hm.

[ Though she's still reveling about like a cat in a pile of tissue paper, only half-focusing on her powers. ]

We're probably resonating splendidly. Scare them all to death right away.

You can't leave me to do all the work, my dear.

[He might just get injured again. 8D]
