Florence
Florence had been immediately evacuated the moment Shibusen Florence recieved word from Death City about the danger to its population. Most of its citizenry had left, but the sentries, guards, and local militia (and mafia) had stayed to bravely defend the city. These were unfortunately the ones being affected by madness, to turn against each other with the same determination they had attempted to show their duty.

The streets of central Florence are plunged in chaos, with torches lit and some structures burning. Those who have managed to resist the madness to try to salvage the museums are hardpressed to defend themselves against those that have become crazy, but the light rain in the afternoon helps.


Frankfurt
It's cold and grey in Frankfurt but the streets are busy with activity. Germany has deployed its military to assist Shibusen Frankfurt in evacuating the people into shelters and taking down those that have begun to go mad. The problem is that even with their haste, it's still not enough, and they are becoming more overwhelmed by the hour. A number of makeshift forts and shelter are scattered throughout the city, requiring help to get through the crazed people outside. Kishin eggs in random areas are taking people down one by one in a frenzied eating craze.


Prague

The Prague agents are unlucky today with the weather, with the cold and chances of light snow. They're given coats or jackets before they leave Shibusen Prague, but are quickly urged on to the northwest part of the city. The heaviest of the violence and damage becomes concentrated there by afternoon, with people boarded up in buildings and kishin eggs preying on the people outside.


Vienna

It's snowing lightly in Vienna when the agents come in, and it seems that the situation there had gone from all right to downright crazy in the minute it took for the madness wavelength to sweep the city just an hour before. There is chaos as people run from murderous citizens and the police try to take them down. The prisons are already overflowing, some with people desperate to protect themselves from attack.

It doesn't take long before the first kishin eggs appear, people who accidentally kill others and eat their souls in madness.

[That pause wasn't very reassuring...but it looks like she'll have to rust him to know his limits and when not to push them.]

...tell me if it becomes too much for you, all right?

Picking a kishin out from a crowd of people affected by maddness wasn't that difficult surprisingly and it dodn't take long for Aqua to spot one. It looks like it will pass by the opening of the street they're in and she doubts they will go unnoticed.

She settles into a battle ready stance, pushing anything else she may be feeling right now to the back of her mind.]

[And the appearance of their enemy, at least, gives him something to focus his attentions on. That's usually all it takes.

The monster isn't aware of their presence yet. They have the upper edge this time.]

[And she plans to take advantage of that. After all, it wouldn't do to waste an opportunity like this.

She waited until it was close enough before she made her move, stepping out of the side street enough to attack the kishin, aiming a slash at its side.]

[Her attack was effective, cutting deep into the thing's leg. The monster howled in agony, and attempted to whip around and attack Aqua in return.

Pain made it slow, however, while blood made Takasugi only sharper.]

[It wasn't hard to spot tha attack coming. Not only did its pain slow it down, the kishin's movement were wide and all to easy to read for someone who had spent her entire life learning how to fight.

She dodged and in the same movement circled to the side of the creature bringing the Weapon in her hand up to stab it.]

[And it ran right through when it should have just halted midway, completely spearing the creature. It gurgled in an almost undignified fashion, eyes going wide and blank.

They'd have to move soon. Another was coming their way.]

[It still caught her off-guard whenever he became sharper like this. But there was no time to think about that since there was another one coming.

She pulled him out, leaving the body to fall as she turned to face the next enemy. They were still close enough to the side street that if they needed to they could make it back, but she didn't much want to turn her back to a charging enemy.]

[The next one was leaping up, skittering and hopping over the walls as though it was a massive spider. Takasugi observed it well from his position.]

It will attack from the right, and double up to try and get you in the gut. [His voice was low, flat and worlds away from the person he was when they were together.] Take off its head. You can do it easily with me, now.

[It's not like she had room to talk about acting differently during battle. More aloof, less gentle. Maybe the change was less drastic in her, but she understood why it was necessary.

She nodded. Beheading her enemies wasn't something she was in the habit of doing, but considering her usual enemies this was not so strange. Still, it was all a matter of angles and aiming higher. She was more than aware of how to do it.

She shifted her weight slightly, to better react when it came. She would be ready when their enemy attacked.]

[alastinglight]

[And the attack came swiftly, but it was an unskilled swing, something borne purely out of instinct.

Takasugi, in the meantime, was focusing his attentions on the enemies coming in from behind the creature, plotting out their next possible move.]

[blue_wayfinder]

[It was pretty much just like Takasugi said, so it wasn't hard to dance out of the way and strike out at it. The blade cut through the creature's neck with little resistance and in the next moment the kishin was toppling over, headless.

But there was no time to relax yet, not when there were more enemies on their way.]

We'll be fine.

[It's a statement of pure fact. No matter how enemies they were, he'd cut them down. Now he has someone to help him do this again.]

I know.

[She believed, after all, not only in herself but in him as well. She wasn't afraid, not as long as they were in this together. Not while she can feel his soul right there beside her own.]
