The clone stares for a long time, before walking over to kick one of the vegetables that is being tended off to the side.]
It does not concern me, but I have decided that I do not care.

Nataku-dono?
[Why the vegetable violence? ;A;]

I have something to ask of you.

Hm... I was beginning to think people didn't have fields in the future. ( she's just crouching nearby, eyeing all the veggies. )
It must be hard keeping them so perky with the weather here!

It is difficult, but there is nothing I cannot do for the sake of my master.

It's good you're here with him... ( a little bit quieter, maybe wistful. )

[a little park wandering after some training seemed to be in order, and she stumbles upon him with a little bit of curiosity. she's never gardened or really dug in the dirt once before in her life, so, this is new. her curiosity was, as always, peaked, and she stops to stand by the side and watch for a little while.
at least until she feels like she's being awkward and tries to make conversation.]
Do they take a lot of effort? Your plants, I mean.
no subject
[You're new as well, although he might have spotted you in the Watch office or on patrol...]
Good morning, ma'am.
no subject
[she gives a curt little nod.] Good morning. [and then, after a pause - ]
Oh, I guess I ought to introduce myself. Re-L Mayer.
[she falters at offering her hand to shake, more so because she isn't sure about this whole dirt thing than anything else. in the end she decides that, of all things that could have happened, getting dirty is the least of her worries.]

Yo, Koujurou. [The usual greeting as he walks up, looking quite refreshed from the morning's workout.] Hard at work, I see.

Rather than go home, she'd brought a bag with her uniform in and decided to kill a hour or so before she was due in a work. Which is why she ended up walking through the park, and why she found herself stopping midway. She hadn't realised there was a vegetable garden here.]

Rikku knew what farming was--the vegetables back home came from somewhere--but she'd never actually seen anyone growing anything, either due to being on a boat/desert island her whole life, or being part of the heretics that wouldn't have been allowed near the Yevonite farms. Seeing someone actually growing food to eat was weird. Cool, but weird.
So she's totally just sitting off to the side, staring at the strange man while he farms.]
