[Though not the best he's ever had, it's tasty enough, and his stomach is certainly satisfied. It's when he finishes the bowl almost embarrassingly quickly, and moves to set it down that he seems to pause for no apparent reason, struck with the memory of the last time he'd asked for seconds, thirds. They'd raced to eat as much as they could and ended up making themselves sick over it. Sasuke pulled his hand back, balled it into a loose fist and let it fall in his lap.]

[He glances up and that's something he doesn't see very often on Sasuke. His smile is warm and even without sight, Sasuke should be able to tell how much this simple meal together made Kaworu happy.]

[It's impossible to ignore, but Sasuke remains almost impassive to it. He's loathe to ask, if not only to exercise what little politeness he might have, but his face turns blindly towards Kaworu, just a little. He'd heard rumors that food was scarce right now, so he's not about to pass up on what is offered.]

[He chuckles and presses the other container into Sasuke's hands as he made a fuss over snagging the other serving of salad. More for him, then and more for Sasuke and happier bellies all around. Healing took something out everyone when it happened, after all.]

[He's not that hard to convince. He didn't really want the salad, anyway, and rather gratefully takes the container given to him. He's quiet as he sips the soup at a more sedate pace, this time.]
