Call and answer. [CLOSED]
Characters: Tassadar (
aiursfavoredson) and Raidou Kuzunoha (
justtubeit)
Where: Outside of Death City Heights.
Rating: G!
Time: Right after this post~
Description: Raidou never forgets his promises!
Raidou stood up as soon as he set his PDA down and, after checking if all was in order within the apartment, headed downstairs and outside of the building. The boy detective was admittedly surprised at Tassadar suddenly contacting him, but he figured he would soon know the reasons why.
He looked about as soon as he was outside, and eventually decided to settle down at the steps. It was a nice day out, he decided. Death City's weather was surprisingly pleasant, given its location in the middle of a desert.

It had taken some time to navigate to the right area, but Tassadar had finally managed to find what he'd been searching for. Crossing the street, the High Templar made his way over to where he saw Raidou waiting out front.
"En Taro Adun, Raidou Kuzunoha," Tassadar greeted moments before his movements came to a stop a few paces in front of the human. The colour of his eyes flashed from blue to yellow momentarily as he spoke up again, "It has taken some time to grow accustomed to human built cities, and I apologise for any delay."

"It is quite all right, sir. If I may ask, what does 'En Taro Adun' mean?"
no subject
"It is a greeting we give to others the times that we cross paths," The templar offered while peering down at Raidou, "If translated in human, En Taro means 'in honour of', while Adun was the greatest of all Protoss."
His much larger height didn't seem to perturb the young human as much as it had the others. That was a rather interesting concept, and he idly found himself curious as to why.
[ooc: Ack! Sorry for the slow. I'm visiting people atm so I've been busy. I'll be back up to speed with posting on Monday ♥]

Raidou really didn't have anything to fear - or so he believed. He had faced many a strange creature during his time as a devil summoner, and he was certain that there would be stranger things. If for anything, encountering new and potentially frightening others only sparked Raidou's curiosity.

Still, he was hardly here to observe different variations of the human race. He needed to help put an end to this war and return to his sector of space. His attack on the Overmind might have failed, and if so, then he needed to return and play for another assault.
He hardly wanted to hold such a conversation out front of the building, however, and gestured for Raidou to follow before he began to make his way along the street. "How long have you been trapped here?"
[ooc: Whoo! Then that's lucky for both of us :D]

"Almost a month now, sir. I arrived on the 18th of July."

"I shudder to think what the impacts and repercussions these events must have on the worlds we are pulled from. Such power is not meant to be abused in such ways," He said, but his words were directed more to himself than the one walking beside him. Tassadar couldn't afford to be here for such a great length of time. The war in his own sector of space was far too pressing, and if it wasn't stopped, the templar held no doubt that the Zerg infestation would eventually reach this area. He would do everything within his power to stop such a thing from happening.
He remained in silent thought for a short while as his options rolled around his mind. There was no doubt that he needed to return to Aiur, but he had learnt well just how devious the human race could be and needed to be informed in far greater detail. Tassadar only hoped that his companion could answer the questions he felt stirring within.
"I wish to learn everything there is about this place and in particular those who run this city." The High Templar offered in an attempt to see just where this one stood.

"Death City is ruled by the authorities of Shibusen, the school that trains Meisters and Weapons to fight against the forces of the witches. They appear to be an honorable bunch, albeit a little slow in their dissemination of crucial information. They are rectifying this problem now, though."
Raidou glanced up at his companion.
"Have you been able to speak with any of them yet, Tasadar-dono?"
no subject
"Withholding such crucial information seems to be a common trait among the human race," He thoughtfully mentioned but said nothing further in that regard. There truly was little choice in this type of matter. From what little he had witnessed so far, the Shibusen authorities gave the appearance of taking care of those they've dragged here.
He felt the glance in his direction, but he took a few more steps before pausing to return the attention. "I have yet to speak at lengths to those in charge," The templar admitted before adding, "I had wished to find out what information I could before requesting an audience."
no subject
"I can only hope that I can offer you something for your trouble, sir."
The boy detective was, after all, perfectly willing to answer whatever questions came his way truthfully, and to the best of his abilities. It likely showed in his mannerisms, and in the tone of his voice.

"I have no doubt that you will, Raidou Kuzunoha," There were many questions floating around within his mind, but perhaps he should start at the root of all of the problems for the city and its people, "Tell me what you know of these witches?"
no subject
The more he talked to this Tassadar, the more he realized that in spite of his fearsome appearance, he was likely someone that any one in Death City could rely on. Of course, if he chose not to help Shibusen...
Ultimately, it was Tassadar's decision. From the way things were looking now, though, with so many noncombatants pouring in, Raidou couldn't help but hope.

"To go blindly up against an opponent is foolish indeed," The warrior murmured as he considered his options. The only experience he'd had with anything similar was the time he spent on Char testing out Kerrian's abilities and way of thinking. With his psionic abilities so greatly diminished, it would make a similar strategy against the witches impossible.
What he wouldn't give to have his Protoss brethren here with him. Searching the witches out and organising anything against them would be far easier. He would simply have to make do with what he had, and perhaps there might be a few humans here who could aid the cause like Jim Raynor and his companions.
Glancing back down to Raidou, Tassadar said, "Then we need to find out as much information in regards to these witches."
no subject
Raidou paused, trying to recall any relevant information with regard to his statement.
"I am under the impression, though, that one must sign the contract in order to attend these classes."
no subject
Granted, his experience when it came to understanding an enemy was far different. One could only learn so much from theory, after all, and he found that experience on the battlefield against possible threats and enemies was just as valuable. Yet he had know at least some basic knowledge behind the Zerg before he sent his Zealots out to find and locate Kerrigan's whereabouts on Char. He knew well that he didn't hold as much knowledge when it came to these witches. Perhaps some level of theory would give him the basic knowledge that he needed.
"Hmm," Tassadar sounded before his attention shifted back out of his thoughts, "This contract you speak of, what does it entail?"
no subject
A beat, as Raidou thought through what he had said and tried to figure out if he was missing any crucial detail.
"I shall have to read through the Contract once again to be certain if that is everything."
no subject
He needed no such training when it came to the battlefield, but there was that odd notion of weapons and meisters. Which he was, he had yet to discover. "Am I to believe that this will also train us in whichever role we play in this war?"
no subject
The boy offered the other a smile.
"They are both very helpful. If I may be so forward as to say: perhaps they will be of great use to you."
He's so damn cute! I love Raidou <333
The sudden forward statement did draw Tassadar's attention back to his companion. He didn't need to read the mind of this one to sense the intention, for he had been around enough Terran's to know them well enough.
Tassadar didn't make mention on his thoughts, though, and instead probed for further answers. Perhaps, though questions of his own, he would get an accurate profile of his new-found companion, "And just what do these training sessions and classes entail?"
Hee. Raidou is all *^* over Tassadar.
The boy detective stopped for a moment, reaching into the folds of his cape. He pulled out a small, leatherbound notebook.
"I have taken some notes on the lectures - my observations on the instructors are there as well. If you wish, sir, you may read this."
Haha aww he's so cute <3 Tassadar's quite impressed with him :3
"Is this combat training merely for learning battle situation, or is there more to it?" While he wasn't as experienced in battle as Fenix and Zeratul, the High Templar felt as though he was experienced enough after his years of service. "How does one discover whether they are a Meister or this Weapon you speak of?"
His attention dropped down to observe Raidou's actions. Sighting the leather bound notebook, he found himself rather impressed with the apparent meticulous nature Raidou displayed. The offer hadn't been expected either, and after glancing from the notebook and up to Raidou's expression, Tassadar spoke, "You would part with such information?"
Raidou: @_@ /flattered
Raidou paused, turning the page where he had jotted down a list of names. Allen Walker, Maka Albarn, Frank N. Stein, Watanuki Kimihiro. He made a habit of keeping an eye on the network these days.
The boy detective smiled at Tassadar's other comment and nodded.
"I only request that you return it at your leisure, sir. Of course, if you wish for a copy of your own, I can transcribe another for you."
Tassy: >: | /damn no need for smiling
Watching as the notebook was flipped through, Tassadar stepped around so that he could properly peer down at the words listed. The human language always appeared rather ineffective, and it took a few moments for the templar to translate the letters into names.
Interesting.
"I will keep such knowledge in mind," Having a human so cooperative at such an early stage was a rather welcome change of pace. Perhaps their unfortunate situation had forced the hands of most, but it was hardly something he sensed within this one, "And I thank you for your generous offer."
XDDD

And it truly was: it showed on Raidou's face. He had approached Tassadar without expecting any return - it just wasn't in the boy detective to think that way.
