However, he'd been putting off getting much food until Sougo, his sister, and he were settled into their apartment, and thus had to venture out to get something.
When Hitsugaya sees Mitsuba, he's startled by the resemblance and guesses easily who her brother is. They were all to meet sooner or later, but there was no sense in ignoring her now. It might be interesting to see what she was like without Sougo initially around.
He approaches her, looking not terribly interested in the whole thing.]

I'm his partner, actually, Hitsugaya Toushirou. [He kept his arms folded under his kimono sleeves in front of him but gave her a small incline of his head.] He hasn't had a chance to introduce us yet.
[Hitsugaya was fairly positive Sougo would have told her about him, since they would all be living together soon. In the back of his mind, he wondered what kind of things his meister had implied to his sister about him, but he wouldn't worry about that.]

[and while not the customary greeting type she is used to, she hugs him anyway. only then does the urge disappear. she is graceful when she pulls back from the embrace. (sure seems like she's been hugging many people today!)]

For the record, I will only respond to being called by my name, Hitsugaya-kun. It will get confusing if you call both me and my brother by our last name. Has he forbidden you from calling him Sougo?

Is that what he told you? [An exasperated sigh.] Look, I'm not a child, you should know that now. I'm over 50 years old, perhaps close to 100, I've lost track at this point. I'm a shinigami, so my appearance doesn't reflect my actual age.
