Description: Anise spies Kratos and enables him to buy her dinner


Anise hated waiting. She would much rather go out and do something than to just sit around. With the recent events, she really wanted a weapon to help her out but she can be picky. She was use to having Tokunaga, her doll, do most of the work but what can she do now? She was use to being in the background and dish out spells, she wanted a staff. However, there wasn't much she could do. She had to try out different weapons.

With a sigh, she mumbled and went out to get some dinner. There was no use in getting upset on an empty stomach.

"But it's just awkward and weird." She countered. "It's just makes me uncomfortable."

[flamberge]

Kratos glanced over at her. Was silence really that uncomfortable for her? "Why is that?"

[tokunagas]

"I don't know, it just seems that something is wrong." She sighed. "Ever get that weird feeling that it's just too quiet and then something shows up?"

[flamberge]

"I have, but mostly when areas typically associated with noise were somehow free from it, a forest suddenly having no wildlife stirring for example." Usually a very bad sign in a forest, actually. If something didn't show up then it would've been a surprise.

[tokunagas]

"So if someone were to randomly attack you now, you'll never expect it?" Was that a plot for something? That was up to Kratos to decide.

"Hm...I think we're about at the commons pretty soon. How sad, I was having so much fun talking to you too!"

[flamberge]

He raised an eyebrow at that. Was she up to something? "Were I to let down my guard, perhaps, however such a thing is unlikely to happen."

Judging by the area, she seemed correct. Their destination wasn't too far off. "You're not an especially bad conversation partner, yourself, occasional childish antics aside."

[tokunagas]

"Are you sure?" She smirked before moving on to the next topic.

"Oh?" She giggled at him "Do you really think so? I'm so glad that I can keep talking to you then!"

[flamberge]

No verbal response was given to that question, but a look clearly saying 'yes, I'm sure' got sent her way.

A soft hmph but it's coupled with a teeny smile. "It seems you'll be unable to do so for much longer. We've arrived."

[tokunagas]

"Oh c'mon!" She pouted when she arrived at the commons. However, she sighed and stepped forward to the building. "Maybe we should do this again some day! What do you think?"

[flamberge]

He considered it for a few seconds before nodding. "I see no harm in that." Though his wallet might argue otherwise.

[tokunagas]

"Hehe, you're the best! Thank you for your time then!" With that said she went her merry way to the commons. However, before she did...

"Be sure to see if there's anything coming your way tonight."

[flamberge]

Good. She arrived safely at home and he could finally get some rest. Right when he was about to turn an leave, Anise's final parting words made him pause. He raised an eyebrow "Coming my way?"

[tokunagas]

"I'm not telling you~" She giggled. "You can figure that out for yourself!" With that, she went the other way to her building.

[flamberge]

That eyebrow continued to be raised as he watched her enter the building before he shook it off. Whatever she meant it likely wasn't anything threatening, at least. With that thought in mind, he started off back towards his own apartment.
