Description: Welcome to Death City!

It's even chillier now, but not that cold yet, so don't worry about that!

What you might want to worry about is a strange atmosphere hanging about the city. The feeling making everyone nervous has more or less dissipated, but the more observant of you lot might notice the way some of the citizens look uneasy...

"Even though you've been here before, make sure to stop by Soul Perception regardless. There have been instances where BREW altered a guest's designation upon bringing them here a second time."

She did catch his glance down at her hands and flexed her fingers a little. It hurt, but the damage would heal. After all, she did it to herself. And so, she casually moved her hands behind her back.

"I'm hoping that won't be the case for me," Kurapika replied in the mild tone he used whenever he needed to hide discontent. He could sense that he was still a weapon, but prior knowledge had proven that BREW had a rather irksome tendency to shatter expectations and hopes.

And so he didn't say anything about being able to heal her hands if she wanted him to. He could just offer after he'd confirmed that he still had the ability. It didn't look like she was favoring her injuries too much, in any case.

"I'll just go, then. Thank you for your time," he added, turning to face the doors. Kurapika looked back at her and wondered if she was staying. The pervading mood in the chamber felt oddly empty and lonely, and not at all ominous despite the seals and shattered stone. He seemed to be the only person who'd showed up so far.

Akiha nodded, finding nothing else to say. She walked over to where some of the Shibusen guards were and leaned against the wall. Closing her eyes, arm folded across her stomach to rest her hand on her ribs, she concentrated on slow breaths.

She was there until BREW powered itself back down. She still couldn't believe she'd been late and, worse, almost forgot she had to be there. At least Kurapika already knew the ropes. She hated it when the new arrivals asked the same questions over and over.

But she would endure.
