Description: Let's send off summer in style! And by that we mean parfaits.

For a while now, some flyers have been floating around advertising the Hikan Cafe's 'Farewell My Beautiful Summer Extravagenza!'. On it there are the silhouettes of ten parfaits with a large question mark on each. There's one more on the bottom with the words, 'NOMINATE A CHALLENGER!' written on top in bright and bold letters.

Besides that there's a date: coming to the Hikan Cafe on August 15!

When the day of the reveal finally came, the flyer on the Hikan Cafe's door was replaced with a fully coloured poster. At each table you will find a smaller, laminated copy as a special menu.

[Naoto heard about the parfaits, but she thought it was just a joke. Or maybe she had been hoping it was a joke. But no, she was looking at the parfait menu now wondering where the owner got the right to use the names of the Guests, herself included.]

[Yes, she came to complain to the owner, but somehow, that ends up with her sitting in Hikan with her Meister's flavored parfait. Well, she might as well try it, right? No one would make a big deal around this, right?]

[Keroro won't make a big deal of it. In fact, he is very, very welcoming when he personally brings her the parfait.]

[......And that isn't a camera he's holding behind his back or anything.]

[She jolts when the parfait is delivered and she looks at it. It sort of matches, but she personally thinks it could use a little more color... not that she'll say that out loud. No more ideas need to be given.]

[About to grab the spoon, she stares at him. He's... shifty. Her eyes narrow slightly.]

[He gives her a professional smile that totally isn't shifty at all.]

Is something the matter, de arimasu?

... I'm just curious if you have an ulterior motive...

[Staaaaring. The... hand behind his back isn't helping.]

My only motive is to provide magic and joy to the citizens of Death City, de arimasu!

[Now all he had to do was wait for a smile. Or maybe he could just take a candid shot??]

[Waiting for the wrong person to smile.]

Right... [She's... slowly going to pick up her spoon and take a bite.]

[And the moment she takes a bite is when he brings up his camera for a picture.]

[She jumps, almost knocking over her parfait.]

And might I ask what you're planning to do with that? While I'll allow the parfait to slide, using my likeness for any promotions following without my consent can result in jail time.

[He gives her a bright grin.]

Don't worry, that's not what I was planning on doing at all, de arimasu!

[At least, not at the moment. But it was actually a pretty good idea.]

[He's just going to put it up on the wall of memories over near the cash register, full of pictures of all the people he's known in Death City.]

[Watching him for a moment longer, she decided it would be best to finish her parfait and go to work so she'll resume eating in silence.]

Hey, sounds like you got pretty lucky! [ Guess who's that loud. Well, it's not hard, considering there's not many people as boisterous as Josuke around, but if Naoto looks at the source of the voice she'll spot Josuke (who bought a parfait himself) approaching her with a big grin. ]

I can't think of many people who can brag they got ice cream named after 'em!

[Naoto almost drops her spoon and ends up clutching it to her chest. Her head snaps around to see Josuke. Yup, only two males with a pompadour in Death City currently.]

... Without consent. And they're parfaits.

Ice cream, parfaits, same thing! Just sounds fancier!

[ They both.. taste.. good.. so it's the same thing. Obviously. Yes. Josuke is not too eloquent, okay, don't blame him. ]

.. You're seriously upset 'bout it though? [ Or even just annoyed or whatever? It's sort of weird, but at the same time, he also thinks it would be sort of flattering to have something like this named after you. ]

Hm...

[She wasn't really in the mood to point out the differences. Either way, she takes a bite of hers.]

Somewhat. I'm just... it's odd to hear people say they want to try Miles Edgeworth or get a Neji Hyuuga. [Sounds like a bizarre convention.] What if they said 'I'm going to eat Josuke'.

[ Well, she sort of has a point, but it still can't be that bad.. at least, that's what Josuke thinks up to the very moment she mentions his name, then he looks almost comically shocked. ]

W-- what, don't make it sound like something weird! [ His cheeks flush a little.. ] I'm an honest kinda guy!!

That's the thing. I'm not trying to make it sound 'weird'. That's merely the result.

Yeah, but I'm not one of the parfaits here, so..

[ .. oh. Now he's slowly starting to get it.. although he still looks definitely a little flustered. ]

You just don't want guys to talk 'bout eating you, huh. [ He sure doesn't blame Naoto.. ]

Yes, that's one of the reasons.

[Another... well, she doesn't like being high profile.]

Another? C'mon, you can't have that many reasons for it..

[ Even though she did just make a valid point.. but there's good stuff too about one of them being named after you, right? ]

At least you're all cool and famous now! Soon people'll start a fan club for you!

The last time I became 'all cool and famous', there was an attempt made on my life.

[And she already has a yaoi fanclub in Japan here. She doesn't need anymore.]

Yes. Though, at that time, the attack was expected as it was part of the plan. However, this isn't. That's why, even for a parfait name, it's imperative to get that person's consent.
