Characters: Teresa & Yuuri
Location: Nevada
Rating: G
Time: 15th of Feb
Description: Teresa and Yuuri head out into the deserts of Nevada to help out a town with a Kishin Egg problem.
It hadn't taken them long to track down the Kishin Egg in question. The creature had been terrorizing the people all throughout the town by the time they'd arrived, and he and Teresa had instantly gone into action. It was lucky, really, since she seemed to just know when he was about to just dash off and get himself involved, and when he'd done that, Teresa had dashed after him and reminded him to transform for their battle. Yuuri had done just that without any questions, and while the Kishin Egg had been tough to fight against, their combined powers had eventually given them a victory.
Yuuri hadn't picked up the soul right away after the fight, but had instead gasped in shock as he saw an injured man hiding off in the distance. Leaving the red orb right where Teresa spoke, the young Maou forgot all about it as he jogged over to the man and asked, "How badly are you hurt?"
Glancing back over his shoulder, he peered in worry at Teresa as he called out, "We need to get him to a doctor!"

It hadn't taken them long to track down the Kishin Egg in question.

Once it seemed that the healing had taken root and the injured human would be alright, she eased her forearm away from the blade before taking it back in hand. "It's alright to let go now," she murmured before pulling Yuuri back by the blade and holding him out so that he could transform again.

What lingering traces of his power he had transferred over to his Meister. Ever-so-slightly the wound on her arm began to knit back together even if there wasn't enough energy within to fully heal the cut. Yuuri's mind wasn't focused on that though as he peered up at Teresa with his wide sunken eyes.
"That was an amazing thing that you did," he muttered and wondered how anyone could have ever been afraid of someone as nice and honestly giving as she was.
no subject
"Not really," she replied simply to her partner. "He needed healing, and we had a means to do that. It was what was necessary." She shrugged her shoulders, even if she knew that under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have healed a human she didn't know.
"Are you injured anywhere?"
no subject
"No, I'm fine," Yuuri said in reply to her question before he finally began to transform back. When he was standing in his human form again, he gestured down to his body as if to prove to her that he was. "See?" He asked while doing a half-twirl thing to show her that he was okay.
no subject
Smiling, she nodded her head. "So you are, and that man will get the necessary medical attention without having to rush," she murmured before holding out the glittering red Kishin soul Yuuri had left behind. "You forgot this."
no subject
The smile had him returning the gesture as well, and he nodded his head when she spoke about the man. His happy expression turned to one of surprise though when she was suddenly holding out the red soul, and he blinked before grinning sheepishly.
"Aaa I guess I did, didn't I?" He muttered while reaching out to pluck the soul from her hand. With a wide smile, the young Maou said, "Thank you, Teresa!"

Turning her head, she watched the other villagers tend to the man they had healed, and it reminded her distinctly of times where she was from. Her silver eyes flicked to Yuuri before she pushed the soul into his hands.
"You shouldn't forget what we came for," she murmured. "We should do a walk around the village once to look for injured and then return to Death City."
no subject
Grasping the orb as it was handed to him, he nodded his head. "Mm! I won't," Yuuri said before turning around to pop the soul into his mouth. The other villagers were helping the man out while he swallowed their prize, and he was happy to see such support for the people here. "That's a great idea! Let's go!"
no subject
Once he had eaten the soul and agree, she moved off to circle the village to make certain that it was secure. She only held the material to the cut as her silver eyes roamed the streets in search of people who might be injured and in need of help. "Yuuri, how often do you use that strange box that transmits your voice or image to someone else?"
no subject
"I use it everyday," Yuuri offered as he kept his attention on Teresa. Unlike her, he couldn't remain focused on two things at once, at least most of the time anyway. That was why he began to question her instead of looking around for anybody who might need some help right now. "Why's that?"
no subject
Her eyes moved around in search of people who might be injured, but most of her attention was on Yuuri walking next to her. "I know how to turn it on and off, but... I should learn more about it. Will you teach me?"
no subject
Yet he was more than happy with her decision as well, since it would make things safer for her here as well!
"Sure! Of course I'll teach you," Yuuri said with a grin. He had been wanting to help her more for a long while now, and he was more than happy to be given such an opportunity! "When would you like to start?"
no subject
"I've been shown once when I first arrived, but it was all confusing and overwhelming," she stated without shame. She needed the help, and Yuuri had never made her feel that it was wrong to seek his help. He was always willing and ready to jump at the chance. "Perhaps after this mission if you have the time?"
no subject
"I would love to!" Yuuri said with a large smile. Searching for any injured people had fled his mind by this point, as he was too distracted with the thought that she needed any kind of help. "We can head back to the apartment and play around with them."
no subject
Glancing around as they moved through the small village, it seemed to be clear and free of threats as well as injured. "Yes, we should head back now that the mission has been completed. Shall we then?"
no subject
"That sounds great to me," Yuuri said before he began walking ahead of Teresa with renewed vigour in his steps. "Once we get back, I'll start teaching you how to use the communicator!"
