Description: Teresa and Yuuri head out into the deserts of Nevada to help out a town with a Kishin Egg problem.

It hadn't taken them long to track down the Kishin Egg in question. The creature had been terrorizing the people all throughout the town by the time they'd arrived, and he and Teresa had instantly gone into action. It was lucky, really, since she seemed to just know when he was about to just dash off and get himself involved, and when he'd done that, Teresa had dashed after him and reminded him to transform for their battle. Yuuri had done just that without any questions, and while the Kishin Egg had been tough to fight against, their combined powers had eventually given them a victory.

Yuuri hadn't picked up the soul right away after the fight, but had instead gasped in shock as he saw an injured man hiding off in the distance. Leaving the red orb right where Teresa spoke, the young Maou forgot all about it as he jogged over to the man and asked, "How badly are you hurt?"

Glancing back over his shoulder, he peered in worry at Teresa as he called out, "We need to get him to a doctor!"

She waited silently and rather patiently as she allowed the injury to remain pressed against the blade so that her blood would continue to mark the metal. She had received healing herself in such a way, but it was usually to her fatigued limbs and less injuries. She simply knew that this was the right thing to do in such a circumstance.

Once it seemed that the healing had taken root and the injured human would be alright, she eased her forearm away from the blade before taking it back in hand. "It's alright to let go now," she murmured before pulling Yuuri back by the blade and holding him out so that he could transform again.

She only released her grip on the sword when it was clear that Yuuri had successfully changed back to his human form. She then pulled the cloth that she normally used to remove dirt and grime for the Morgif sword and pressed it to her wound. It was bleeding less thanks to Yuuri's help, but she had never been concerned about it.

"Not really," she replied simply to her partner. "He needed healing, and we had a means to do that. It was what was necessary." She shrugged her shoulders, even if she knew that under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have healed a human she didn't know.

"Are you injured anywhere?"

Her silver eyes roamed over his body to search for the potential of injuries even though it was obvious that he was fine. He made an interesting twirling motion, which caused her to shake her head a little as she continued to apply pressure to the injury on her arm. Apparently things didn't heal on her as good as they used to.

Smiling, she nodded her head. "So you are, and that man will get the necessary medical attention without having to rush," she murmured before holding out the glittering red Kishin soul Yuuri had left behind. "You forgot this."

She knew that he could heal her, but he had already expended enough of his energy helping the man injured from the Kishin Egg. It seemed pointless to hurry along her own healing when it was such a minor inconvenience to her. "No, something as minor as this can heal on its own."

Turning her head, she watched the other villagers tend to the man they had healed, and it reminded her distinctly of times where she was from. Her silver eyes flicked to Yuuri before she pushed the soul into his hands.

"You shouldn't forget what we came for," she murmured. "We should do a walk around the village once to look for injured and then return to Death City."

Nodding to confirm, Teresa knew that they shouldn't be healing up her wound just yet. Once they had walked the village, she could allow him to bandage it up, but for now, she didn't know if they would need the blood for someone else. She didn't express such thoughts to Yuuri in case he grew upset by the idea, but she was prepared for such events to occur.

Once he had eaten the soul and agree, she moved off to circle the village to make certain that it was secure. She only held the material to the cut as her silver eyes roamed the streets in search of people who might be injured and in need of help. "Yuuri, how often do you use that strange box that transmits your voice or image to someone else?"

Her steps carried her easily around the small village as she contemplated the strange device she had been originally shown but had never entirely figured out. It had seemed a grand waste of time, but the incident with the clothing had reminded her that she needed to adapt to the situation in order to be best prepared. She needed to learn the strange technology of this world.

Her eyes moved around in search of people who might be injured, but most of her attention was on Yuuri walking next to her. "I know how to turn it on and off, but... I should learn more about it. Will you teach me?"

Teresa had not found it prudent to learn about the communication system of this world. She had always believed that talk was cheap, that actions spoke far more about a person. However, the city was so large that it seemed impossible to keep track of what everyone was doing without some larger system. Perhaps it was alright to learn it.

"I've been shown once when I first arrived, but it was all confusing and overwhelming," she stated without shame. She needed the help, and Yuuri had never made her feel that it was wrong to seek his help. He was always willing and ready to jump at the chance. "Perhaps after this mission if you have the time?"

It seemed to her that, as usual, he was eager to jump to helping her, which was a comforting notion. She was only starting to get used to it, after she had been so self-sufficient in her own world. This one was still rather overwhelming. There were things she would probably never understand.

Glancing around as they moved through the small village, it seemed to be clear and free of threats as well as injured. "Yes, we should head back now that the mission has been completed. Shall we then?"
