There has to be a whole new array of absolutely horrible bmovies out there to love ironically. "If not then I vote for Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes."

Leave it to Dave to innovate on the situation, but the movie title he chose has her sort of staring at him. So Dave chose some kind of... horror film. John chose a mystery adventure film. Karkat chose a sci-fi film. She'd had some time to hear about different genres, and unfortunately none of the three presented movies caught her attention too much, but there was a movie she'd stumbled upon while searching for Romcoms for Karkat.

A movie she'd decided to bring with her.

From the bag she'd brought along, she pulls out "How to Train Your Dragon" and holds it up with a little smile. Released in March of this very year, apparently, before she had even arrived in Death City and yet she had managed to find it while shopping. The shopkeeper's high praises had urged her on to buy it, but she hadn't viewed it yet.

"Do you perhaps mean something like this, Dave?" she was fairly certain that both troll and human alike could be impressed by someone training and not being eaten by a fire-breathing wingbeast. Otherwise they could pick one of the three suggestions.

While none of those are his first choice, all of them are films he wouldn't mind watching so John just shrugs. "I could go for any of those. We're pretty much stuck here until the sandstorm is over with. Let's just watch them all. Kanaya can go first since she's the guest?" And also because dragons were cool.

Let's just watch them all he says. Screw voting we can just do everything.

...That's actually not a bad idea. _{[They are probably going to be here for a while.]}

"I'm down with that. Lets just hope the fucking electricity holds out." Technology reliant folks they are may lose their shit without precious electricity. Hopefully he didn't just jinx them, whoops.

"Then it seems we have chosen our first movie. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes can be second, Men in Black can be third, and we can finish with National Treasure?"

It seemed a good plan that would take up plenty of time, so Kanaya offers a little smile after offering the idea. She still has her knitting things to do, but she's finished off John's scarf to start with, so she takes a moment to offer it out to him. A scarf to keep the sand out, with his pesterchum symbol sewn onto its surface. Now he and Karkat had one, and it was time to make Dave's.

"Works for me," John agrees to the movie line up. He leaves Sunny to go bounding around the floor as he gets up and goes to take the scarf from Kanaya. His eyes light up when he sees the finish product and wraps it around his neck to try it out, grinning. "How do I look? This is so sweet, Kanaya, thanks."

"Yeah, okay, that works."

He eyes John's scarf and reflects that his is totally cooler. "You look slightly more fashionable than you usually do. Or something. I don't fucking know. You don't look like a flailing disaster or a stain on humanity, so I figure you're fine."

"Fuck dude, Kanaya's got some mad skills, yo. Shouldn't even have to ask. " Seriously, she's a troll and she still has more fashion sense than the three guys in the room combined.

John's choice to abandon his hopbeast-- er, Sunny, has Kanaya watching it as it hops away for a few moments. She had recalled it was typically kept in a cage, so seeing it freely roaming was new. She'd just have to be careful when walking around. But at John's thanks, she nods and offers a smile... followed by a little chuckle at Karkat and Dave's commentary.

"I apologize that your scarf is the last to be finished, Dave."

But at least she's got the red cloth and material sitting around, ready. If she rushes, it will be finished before the first movie is even over... but as she moves from her seat to put it in, since the others were sitting around, it only takes a glance at the box to remind herself that she'll probably enjoy watching it. So likely it will take her two... or even three of their movies to finish. Sorry Dave, movies are distracting.

But at least the movie is in, and it was time for dragons for the four of them.

"Gee, thanks, Karkat," he says with a roll of his eyes. He keeps the scarf on though as he plops down on the ground, sprawling himself out on his stomach and using his arms to prop his head up in front of the TV. Then a thought comes to him. "Hey, we should make popcorn. Every movie needs popcorn."

"Oh! That's right. The human grubcorn equivalent!" He knows what this is. Thank you to Kanaya for introducing him to this tasty treat that is sort of kind of like grubcorn and is nonetheless pretty delicious. "It doesn't seem hard to make."
