Location: Casualty Communal apartment 3D (Josuke's apartment)
Rating: Let's say PG-13 due to Josuke's possible language... and his naked chest. Also A for Awful all around.
Time: June 9th, morning
Description: Now Raiden knows about Josuke and Minako working together he's determined to run a background check here, except he (with Minako trailing along) picks the wrong time to barge in.

[ No matter what might be going on with other people, Josuke is pretty unsuspecting right now. All he knows is that he's going on his first mission with Minako tomorrow so he's got to make sure to take it easy today - he knows he won't just have to look after himself during all that, after all, but after Minako too. Not to mention that being in his Weapon form is still extrmeely weird, but.. ah, he'll deal. It's for the sake of protecting everyone and then going home again, after all, so it doesn't really matter.

And as a part of taking it easy today he's having a nice and long morning shower for once. Coming out of it he wraps a towel around his bottom half for the moment, his hair not up in its perm for once but instead just flowing down naturally, water still dripping slightly from it. He looks in the mirror, rubbing his star-shaped birthmark on his shoulder for a moment as he does, but then he turns to walk from the shower into his apartment - although he doesn't know what's about to happen.. ]

[Raiden's always been pretty protective of Minako. He's not going to just let some punk kid take care of her without checking him out first!

Also, on that note he doesn't want to be seen right away either. He's going to use THE MOST CLEVER DISGUISE IN THE WORLD and hide in Josuke's room. Josuke might have not noticed it but Raiden managed to sneak in and hide under a box. ]

[Why has Minako gotten involved with these kinds of people... Considering how Raiden was and how much he looked after her, she couldn't help but be suspicious when she saw him heading towards Josuke's apartment. (How does she know where Josuke lives idk THEY'RE PARTNERS THAT'S PROBABLY IMPORTANT SHIT TO KNOW.) She didn't think Raiden would do anything too out of hand... probably... But still she thought she should give him a fair warning.

SO THERE SHE WAS, in front of Josuke's apartment, hand poised over the door so she could knock.]

Hey, Josuke, are you there? It's me, Mina--[After knocking on the door a few times, it opened just like that?! BRO DO YOU NOT LOCK YOUR DOOR!! Ah but seeing as how she was looking straight ahead the whole time, after the door opens she's looking right at... Josuke...........]

[ Josuke in all his bare-chested half-wet glory, yes. He doesn't really know what's going on either, he was about to move to put on at least his underwear before he'd start the long process of styling his hair (yes, he hasn't even noticed Raiden yet since he literally just came out of the shower, cut the kid some slack) but then he hears the door opening. Sure, he might not lock his door but he still doesn't really expect anyone to come in...

.. but then Minako is there. ]

Oh, hey! Minako, what are you-- [ .. waaait, he starts making normal conversation, even as surprised as he is, but then.. he realises.. he's only wearing a towel.. and even Josuke has enough decency to be embarassed at that. ] Wh-- uh-- I.. I was just in the shower..! I wasn't doing anything weird!!

[This conversation is half amusing to watch so he's just gonna stay under the box until further notice.

What kind of weirdo the Minako get stuck with this time?

It doesn't really surprise him all that much that Minako would come here anyways.]

[RAIDEN WHY ARE YOU ABANDONING HER IN HER TIME OF NEED!!! Ah but getting a good look at Josuke now, there's one thought that comes to mind:

[--WAIT NO FOCUS MINAKO, what are you one of those cheap Akihiko fangirls?! She brings up her hands and covers her eyes, face red. How did this happen...]

[ He's just embarassed, really, especially since he can see her face is red too. Man, what kind of impression is he making on the girl who's supposed to be his partner here.. he quickly looks around the apartment to find a quick way to solve this and since his school uniform jacket from back home is draped over a chair nearby he just quickly slips that on. Thankfully it's long so it covers up part of the towel as well, and he's buttoning it up to cover up his chest as he speaks. He's fumbling a little with the buttons though because of his own embarassment. ]

.. There, uh, I guess this is better. [ He pulls a hand through his hair. Man.. ] Sorry, didn't know you were gonna stop by.

[Raiden seriously can't handle this anymore. He feels torn between wanting to make fun of Minako and wanting to help her.

So this time he's just going to push aside his personal feelings on the matter and help Minako. BUSTING OUT THE BOX.]

You just make yourself sound suspicious by saying you aren't doing anything weird!

[Whoa dude what's with the hair? Josuke ru ok?]

Raiden?! [Okay she had a feeling that he was here BUT STILL.] Were you here this whole time?

[ .. oh my god. Being walked in on by Minako while he's half-naked is one thing, but then Raiden jumps up out of nowhere from under some sort of box, and he just screams at it. Hopefully nobody else in the apartment building heard it and comes rushing over.. ]

WHAT THE HELL, DUDE?!

Screw talking for now or even putting on underwear, he'll do that later, he just needs to be covered up for now..!! Okay, there we go, even if he's still wearing the towel underneath his pants like a dumbass. ]

[ BUT VIOLENCE IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER. That's all Josuke knows how to do, okay, if something is wrong you literally punch it until it's right again, it's what his whole power is about.. ]

I'm just saying I don't care. Geez.. [ He's a tough guy, he can withstand one punch! That geez is also halfway at Minako, he's starting to feel cornered now here with that freaking towel inside his pants. ] Just thought it'd show that I wanna earn your trust.

It's going to take some time and you won't win it over by violence. I can say that much.

[Sure nod. Raiden hates to admit it. He really wants to trust Josuke with how open he's being about this. From now on Raiden's definitely going to try and trust him more.]

See, it's a good thing I stayed then. [jokes aside though she nods] And that's fine with me. Josuke's a good guy, so I'm sure he'll earn your trust in no time.

[ He scratches the back of his head half-awkwardly, but.. he still can't help but smile a little at what he hears from Minako. Man, she really is a sweet girl.. ]

[YEAH THINGS ARE RESOLVED!! Minako smiles almost proudly for a moment but ah.... right......]

Maybe now would be a good time to leave and let Josuke get dressed...

Yeah, it's gonna take me a while to get my hair right again. [ You don't know just how much effort goes into a freaking pompadour like that, really.. ]

How long are we talking about? Look, if you're going to take a week to fix your hair you might as well forget about going on the mission.

Oh come on, Raiden, I'm sure it can't take that long! [Though yeah she's definitely imagining that it takes hours at the very least.... Josuke why.] Let's just head out now.

Yeah, yeah, it's only a few hours!! [ Why would it even take a week.. it just means he has to get up early usually to do it okay! But at least it helps that Minako is practically dragging Raiden out now, it means he at least will have some time to fix his hair. ]
