BREW's at it again. After powering up, giving energy readings on the night of the 5th that alerted Shibusen to new arrivals, they turn now to volunteers to assist in giving the newcomers the information and supplies they need.

Perhaps you're one of the ones who woke up in the Kishin Chamber on the morning of the 6th. Perhaps you live in Casualty Communal and were woken up by equipment transporting strange x-ray machines to rest in front of the building, prepared to scan the fresh meat and determine which are Meisters and which are Weapons.

The sun is laughing high in the sky as temperatures soar to 110 degrees F. The air wobbles in the distance, and many citizens are drinking plenty of iced tea and lemonade to cool down. One group of children has popped open a fire hydrant and are playing in the spraying water before the police arrive to give them trouble.

No doubt the new arrivals are confused... let's give them a warm welcome, shall we? But not too warm- stay hydrated and cool, everyone!

And new guys? Welcome to the desert.

Nah, not really. I was just thinking that I should probably get a partner myself already.

Yeah, not like I've gotten one either yet, only got here this morning.. [ Munch munch munch.. at least his stomach is less empty now. ] What're you anyway? Weapon or.. uh.. what was it again.. "Master" or whatever?

I'm a Master. Turning into a weapon sounded pretty neat, but I guess I wasn't lucky.

I dunno about that, being a Weapon sounds freakier to me.. I'm one of those, apparently. They told me so today with one of those weirdass machines they used.
