[OPEN] June 2013 Introduction Log
Characters: Volunteers, Newcomers and OPEN for mingling!
Location: All Around Death City
Rating: Varies
Time: June 6th, All Day
Description: Welcome to Death City!
BREW's at it again. After powering up, giving energy readings on the night of the 5th that alerted Shibusen to new arrivals, they turn now to volunteers to assist in giving the newcomers the information and supplies they need.
Perhaps you're one of the ones who woke up in the Kishin Chamber on the morning of the 6th. Perhaps you live in Casualty Communal and were woken up by equipment transporting strange x-ray machines to rest in front of the building, prepared to scan the fresh meat and determine which are Meisters and which are Weapons.
The sun is laughing high in the sky as temperatures soar to 110 degrees F. The air wobbles in the distance, and many citizens are drinking plenty of iced tea and lemonade to cool down. One group of children has popped open a fire hydrant and are playing in the spraying water before the police arrive to give them trouble.
No doubt the new arrivals are confused... let's give them a warm welcome, shall we? But not too warm- stay hydrated and cool, everyone!
And new guys? Welcome to the desert.
[ooc: Newcomers! Simply tag in to any or all of the sections here and volunteers will pop right up to greet you ASAP! The last section is completely OPEN for newcomers, volunteers, or Guests all ready in Death City who want to come up and say hello. Have fun!]

Fujino moves away from view, only to step to the side and check around it. Weird- there's nothing outside that seems to have caused it so she's down to her last resort.
SHE'S PICKING UP THAT BOX, YUP.]
no subject
99.99 ALERT.
I mean, he's kind of startled but he's still sitting there smoking.]
What do you want, kid?
no subject
[What is she supposed to say? How does she even react to this? Nothing in life ever prepared her for something this weird!
In any case, her expression shifts to a really awkward look. Because a man in a cardboard box, whyyy]
Um...pardon me for asking, but why were you in that box?
no subject
[Said with an entirely straight face after he stands up.]
no subject
[Is that really a technique soldiers use? Eh, best not to dwell on it just yet.]
Oh! Are you new here?
no subject
You could say that. Never been to this part of the world.
no subject
[Cough! Oh gdit, second-hand smoking noooo.]
Where are you from?
no subject
[God, now he's coughing too, thanks.]
no subject
Ahhh. [Okay so probably a new person, then. Also, have moar coughing!] Well, to begin with, we are in Death City, Nevada. I don't know how much you've been briefed on, but if there's any questions you have, I'll try and answer them to the best of my abilities.
no subject
And stuffing it back into the carton.]
So this is America. Looks different from the last time I saw it.
no subject
And, about what you said on the battlefield...you must be an experienced soldier, then?
no subject
[Ever so vague.]
Why are you asking?
no subject
[Although she doesn't know the connection between Raiden and this guy.]
Have you gotten your soul checked yet?
no subject
I had to. Called me a meister or master or something.

[Fujino codec frequency let's go.]
no subject
Well, you'd have to either find a partner that's a weapon or vice versa in order to go out on a mission. You can find them at anytime if you look around, but it's better to go to morning training, since there's an organized section to do that.
no subject
Where do they do 'morning training'?
no subject
In the park! It's not hard to miss- there's tables set up if you want to eat breakfast, and there's also signs indicating the different sections too, along with gear set up for some of the combat-oriented ones.
no subject
Sounds more like a family picnic.
no subject
[Awkward laugh, get.]
There's also the teachers, and they can be found in those sections as well.
[Now it's sounding like a class picnic...]
no subject
I wonder if people are taking this seriously enough.
no subject
They are. [brow raise] Why, are you worried?
no subject
............no.
no subject
...is there anything else you'd like to know about?
