Characters: Bakura, the Yugibros, Takuto and Takuto's not!harem, with special lurking appearances from L and Yami Bakura.
Location: Bakura's brand new sparkly luxury apartment, Fatality Condominiums-5D

Time: June 5th, evening
Description: Bakura throws an apartment warming party! And makes the mistake of letting Takuto plan it. Strip dueling, anyone?

The apartment was huge and seemed almost at odds with the relaxed, homey air that Bakura's previous apartment held. This one was a grand affair, an extensive patio with a hot tub, a slightly sunken living room full of couches. The large dining room table was laden with snacks including both bought and homemade pastries and the living room table has a ton of Battaku cards as well as a stack of Death City Off brand horror movies.

All in all, exactly what one would expect from a Bakura party. ...though when Takuto brought his party supplies, the tone of the room might change...

"Exactly," Sasha says with an exasperated sigh. "Even in familiar company, I'm not comfortable with letting down my guard like that. And yet, look at what happened anyway."

Sasha frowns at himself, before looking up at Sugata's mischevious look. "...What are you planning to do?"

He nods his head in agreement once more. Ooooh boy does he understand your pain. He looks up thoughtfully. "Understandable. I think only two people have seen me 'let loose', so to speak. But it's been ages since then."

"Nothing too terrible. But I do plan on working him harder than usual."

Sasha turns around to glance at the hot tub for the first time since they left, or at least with whatever view he can get from where they're standing, then turns back to Sugata.

"Sounds like a good idea. He seems like the kind of person who could use more discipline in his life."

So many implications in that simple statement.

"If that's the opinion you have of him now, then you should have seen him when he washed up on the Island we live on back home. I do like to think he has improved a little though, since then. But he is far from finished." Because that was a sight to behold.

Sasha's eyebrows raise in surprise.

"Washed up on an island? What the hell?"

"I'm sure it's a story he doesn't like telling." he pauses a little as he sits down in one of the chairs nearby.

"He was coming in from the city and somehow managed to miss the last ferry of the day. Instead of waiting for the next ferry in the morning, he thought it would be best if he swam across the ocean. Needless to say he nearly drowned in the process. Had my friend and I not been out on our nightly walk he very well would have."

Sasha stares in muted surprise while Sugata details the story, then his hand comes up, head drooping into a facepalm.

"Yeah, that sounds like the kind of thing he would do. Now that I think about it, he kind of reminds me of someone from home...practically wild animals, if they didn't have someone to put the collar on every so often."

He pauses.

"Still would trust them with my life, though," he says, holding out his glass as if propositioning a toast.

He can't help the laughter that pushes past his lips. He places his free hand over his mouth in a last attempt to stifle the laughter. But that's just... too funny, and it's coming out hard that it makes his sides actually hurt. "I'm sorry, that's the first time I've ever heard someone compare him to an animal."

He sits up straighter and nods. "While he has a problem with thinking things through, I do trust my life with him." Even though he's talking about Wako's life it's... still the same in some regards. He smiles at the other and raises his glass as well.

Sasha clinks their glasses together and his a swig of his own drink before his expression goes sour.

"Be that as it may, we've been proven that we can't trust him with out dignity..." He sighs. "Or, at least, while he's drunk."

Sugata nods once more as he takes a sip out of his own cup. His smile droops a little as he looks down at his cup.

"Of course. I wasn't exactly aware of that side until tonight." But he can't really blame him, especially with everything the other has been through. He deserves a nice cold drink if it'd help him take his mind away from it all. Just as long as it's tasteful of course. "But he has his reasons, as most do others." he pauses as he looks up at Sasha. "Though I do agree with you. I wouldn't trust him with important things after he's had a few drinks."
