Location: Bakura's brand new sparkly luxury apartment, Fatality Condominiums-5D

Time: June 5th, evening
Description: Bakura throws an apartment warming party! And makes the mistake of letting Takuto plan it. Strip dueling, anyone?



The apartment was huge and seemed almost at odds with the relaxed, homey air that Bakura's previous apartment held. This one was a grand affair, an extensive patio with a hot tub, a slightly sunken living room full of couches. The large dining room table was laden with snacks including both bought and homemade pastries and the living room table has a ton of Battaku cards as well as a stack of Death City Off brand horror movies.

All in all, exactly what one would expect from a Bakura party. ...though when Takuto brought his party supplies, the tone of the room might change...

As the one with the class in hand – and another bottle hiding somewhere behind the tub just out of reach – Atem can at least respect Cupid’s priorities. He’s less interested in becoming the target of yet another person’s not quite affection but he does his best not to let it show, offering a hand to the not so young ghoul lest she topple into someone else entirely in this crowded tub.

“Not the first place I would expect to run into the expert of all things love.”

She has very good priorities, she thinks, so it's a good thing Atem thinks so too. At the very least, she looks appropriately sheepish as she settles next to him, shrugging her shoulders.

"What can I say? All work and no parties make Cupid seriously tense."

She does her best not to settle in too awkwardly, but it's a hot tub full of people so hey- some maneuvering might be necessary.

"Don't worry though, I'll try to rein in my incredible kissing prowess."

A: lie, B: lie, C: she's a dork, excuse her Atem- but she's also a dork who's gently settling a hand on one side of his face as she moves in for a kiss.

Atem wants to reply; there’s one hanging about his head just out of reach. Sometime in line with having high expectations or his own exceptional skill or the like, anything to raise a few more words between them. But when he feels her touch he tenses. And swallows.

It isn’t as though he’s never done this before, in fact he’s quickly learning through this very game that he probably has more experience than anyone here. But that does little to curtail the rush of anxiety as Cupid leans in, hesitating until the last possible second to return the kiss.
