A look of concern crossed Karina's face, truth be told, she was feeling the same way to some extent. That was especially so after talking to Kotetsu upon her arrival and telling him about her parents. Living independently seemed to be going alright for her. But she had to admit that somehow, she was feeling a bit homesick now and then.

"I can sympathize. I've been missing my parents, really. Even though I don't really enjoy mom's nagging or dad always being so silent, it's really different being without them for a while."

She ran her hand through Loafdog's fur for a bit, finding some comfort in the softness of his wrinkly skin.

"I'm glad you and your dad are here, though. It takes away some of the sadness. As for Barnaby... I'm really sure your dad would find a way to set him back to normal. He said he would. And I believe him."
