Takuto arrives just after 6:00 with Sasha in tow. There's been a few changes to some things, but hopefully it's nothing the Starfish Apocalypse can't overcome. Everyone just needs to get to know each other and then get to work!

[Having the door shut like that is a little weird, but since Sasha returns quickly with a coat he thinks nothing of it.]

So drama club meets at the World's End Pub, at the stage in the basement. [He starts walking as he explains.] And actually, we have some roles available so... it'd be really nice if you actually joined.

[ferroustigmata]

It doesn't sound like you're willing to take "no" for an answer.

[tauborn]

[He shrugged and then grinned.] Obviously, if you don't want to then you don't want to. But I have a feeling you'll like it.

[Because who doesn't like drama club? It's where a bunch of teens hang out. And Ryou always brings food, too.]

[ferroustigmata]

[But Sasha isn't a normal teen that likes to hang out with other teens...]

...How do you know that? [How would Sasha know?] I've never done acting in my life. [Except he has, though he doesn't think of it as such.]

[tauborn]

[Takuto laughs.] I didn't say I know. I just said I have a feeling. And being in the club is fun. No one's said anything about it not being fun, and we've got quite the variety of people.

[Except they don't have any girls anymore. Oops. Still, there's a game nerd who loves baking, a tough guy who sews costumes, a guy who is not very bright but tries hard, a guy who is actually a kind of alien that unconditionally and platonically loves everyone, a pretty boy who is actually a brilliant actor, and a kid that is afraid of just about everything--all led by a romantically challenged redhead that wants to save the world. Obviously someone like Sasha will fit in perfectly.]

[ferroustigmata]

If someone didn't find it fun, they probably would have just left instead of saying anything.

[It might seem a little dismissive, especially with the roll of shoulders, except...]

You're the kind of person that people would avoid breaking your heart.

[tauborn]

[He's about to pout when Sasha comes up with that next line. What... what does that even mean? It sounds like a compliment or something... right?]

Er, I am? [He pauses for a moment, feeling kind of embarrassed.] You know, if you end up not wanting to be in drama club, I don't think it'll break my heart....

[But since Sasha rooms with Yako, in some ways perhaps he has the best chance of actually doing just that.]

You're too genuine. They wouldn't want to see the look on your face when they say they don't want to do drama club with you. If they don't show up, then they can avoid seeing your reaction when you realize they've left for good.

[tauborn]

[He didn't know being "too genuine" was a thing. But he shrugs and then grins.]

If you say so. But no one's actually left drama club unless BREW sent them home.

[But even if it's just a little bit, Takuto can see why Yako might choose Sasha as a partner. He seems... refreshingly straightforward.]

[ferroustigmata]

Sent home, huh...

[Sasha repeats it in a somber tone. As much as he's grown attached to the people here, he still would take the opportunity to go home without a second thought. Mafuyu and all of their friends still need him...

...even though America is starting to grow on him.]

That could be a selling point if you ever need to advertise.

[tauborn]

I'm not really sure how that would be a selling point.

[It's not like joining drama club was an automatic pass home, after all. And Feferi had loved being in the club so it's not as if disliking drama club gets you sent home, either.

And for some people, going home isn't something they're interested in.]

[ferroustigmata]

"No Guest leaves voluntarily."

[Sasha shrugs.]

You said you were in dire need of members, right?

[tauborn]

Well... yes, kind of.

[ferroustigmata]

Then use that kind of knowledge to your advantage. How people feel about it, the statistics of how many there are and how often they stick around, all of that can be used to attract people.

[tauborn]

[Takuto is no statistics genius by any stretch of the word.]

If you say so. [He's not doubting that Sasha is right. He's just thinking that what Sasha is suggesting could be a lot of work when just saying 'come join drama club' has been working well enough. It's working for Sasha, after all.]

[ferroustigmata]

[Sasha shrugs.]

You don't really sound that desperate after all.
