They had. As in Nanami and Bakura. It was strange to think about him that way. When Atem wasn't think about Bakura as an antagonist he wasn't really thinking about him much at all.

For a fleeting moment he was conflicted, wanting to ask how Nanami could get mixed up with someone like that. At the very least, inquire after what happened. But that wouldn't make for a very good distraction.

So he sighed soundlessly and smiled in a reassuring way. "When you recover then. Or perhaps a bit before. That sort of thing can be good for you after all."
