[OPEN] April 2013 Introduction Log
Characters: Volunteers, Newcomers and OPEN for mingling!
Location: All Around Death City
Rating: Varies
Time: May 19th, All Day
Description: Welcome to Death City.
BREW doesn't think about kidnappings, activists or the hot, dry weather that hangs over the desert city this week. After powering up, giving energy readings on the night of the 18th that alerted Shibusen to new arrivals, they turn now to volunteers to assist in giving the newcomers the information and supplies they need.
Perhaps you're one of the ones who woke up in the Kishin Chamber on the morning of the 19th. Perhaps you live in Casualty Communal and were woken up by equipment transporting strange x-ray machines to rest in front of the building, prepared to scan the fresh meat and determine which are Meisters and which are Weapons.
Regardless, it's looking a little more like old times... let's give them a warm welcome, shall we?
[ooc: Newcomers! Simply tag in to any or all of the sections here and volunteers will pop right up to greet you ASAP! The last section is completely OPEN for newcomers, volunteers, or Guests all ready in Death City who want to come up and say hello. Have fun!]

As he was going over his list of affairs, his thoughts were interrupted by a feminine chime.
Now, Dualscar wasn't necessarily unpleasant. He was just in foul mood at the moment, and apparently expected to subject himself to the most outlandish procedures. It helped that she minded her demeanor around him.
"I was told to report here for further briefing in regards to my..'soul.'" However the fuck that was supposed to work. He sounded judgmental and skeptical.
Clearly, he just wanted to be done with the whole bureaucratic process and go about his own business.

All of these vague 'your questions will be answered if you do such-and-such' was getting old, and doing nothing to help his impatience with the situation--he really hated flying blind for so many reasons. Still. He should play nice, considering the position he's in.
"In the mean time: what's your name, lass?"

Ergo, he nodded with a low grunt in the back of his throat.
"A few more conversations are in order before I disclose my name." The budding conversation appeared to be lightening his mood for all intents and purposes. "I'm referred to as General Dualscar, however." His wrist rolled with a pleasant enough grin.
"It's a pleasure meeting such an exotic young lass, Miss Aqua. Tell me--was I correct in hearing your species is human?"

Aqua had never been easily won over by someone being 'pleasant'. It is far more important to her that they are kind. Of course, she sees no reason not to return that grin with a smile.
"Please, just call me Aqua." She really wasn't used to being referred to as 'Miss'. "It is." Though she'll be honest, she's never been referred to as exotic before despite the many species represented here, "And you're a troll, right?" He fit what she knew about the way they look.

A baritone chuckle rumbled in the back of his throat, the sound quiet, but amused and simple enough in nature. "Aqua it is."
Her blue hair caught his interest more than anything, but it wasn't as if he was entirely unused to seeing strange traits on foreign species. Still. It intrigued him since most of the passer-bys he had seen had solid black hair like his own, but a few had other colors. Reds, browns, and a few specks of white on faces that showed no signs of advanced age. He hadn't yet seen such a vivid blue.
"I am, yes..except I'm a sea-dwelling troll. I take it you've seen others, then?" He wouldn't pry with too many questions at once. The slower pace to the current conversation seemed comfortable as it was.

She nods at his question, "BREW has brought a number of you here in the past."
