[OPEN] April 2013 Introduction Log

Description: Welcome to Death City.

BREW doesn't think about kidnappings, activists or the hot, dry weather that hangs over the desert city this week. After powering up, giving energy readings on the night of the 18th that alerted Shibusen to new arrivals, they turn now to volunteers to assist in giving the newcomers the information and supplies they need.

Perhaps you're one of the ones who woke up in the Kishin Chamber on the morning of the 19th. Perhaps you live in Casualty Communal and were woken up by equipment transporting strange x-ray machines to rest in front of the building, prepared to scan the fresh meat and determine which are Meisters and which are Weapons.

Regardless, it's looking a little more like old times... let's give them a warm welcome, shall we?

"Most of em are jerks." He agreed. But frowned at the trickster comment. "Gods?" And like a kid with ADHD he was already on the next topic, "Hawks might be ok. I know some cool hawks."

Without any shame he focused on the female thing and looked at her again. Tking in how big she was for a dog. "So you must be like.... huge right? How big are your boobs as a chick?" No shame at all. He's even gesturing for emphasis on 'huge' and 'boobs'.

There seemed to be more authority behind a wolf so that was the form she had taken. Also, it seemed like not too many people knew about wolves and kids. Ah, well, what was she to do?

She tilts her head when he's looking her over again, but then writes.

Big enough to be a bother sometimes.

Now he's got an image in his mind of a dog with huge knockers and it looks absolutely ridiculous especially in the lacy bra he's imagining. But he clearly thinks it is AWESOME. He's having difficulty imagining her as anything but a dog.

"So. Who's ass do we gotta kick to make you a lady again?"

Don't tell Ammy that because it's entirely wrong and why would someone think that??

The Kishin eggs and Witches. BREW might be willing to give my form back then.

Hamel's mind works in mysterious ways.

"So... how do you know they're witches? Are they different than sorcerers?" He makes a face because sounds like a lot of work. Her boobs better be awesome.

She tilted her head the other way.

Well, Witches here cast spells and have their animal-themed magic. Ah, they're only female as well.

Animal themed? He looked at the wolf woman and raised a brow which could not be seen because he has long floppy bangs. But she could probably tell. Not great at letting things sit and fester he pointed to her, "Sounds kinda like you."

Right, because a Witch would stay in a form without thumbs.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. Maybe there is a Witch of Wolves, but she certainly isn't me. Besides, I doubt she would have my white fur.

"Why not? Dogs are cute." He doesn't get it. Of course this is the guy who likes to dress up as stupid things so his logic is all skewed.

"Can't they have white fur? Are theirs polkadot or something?" Really it's like talking with a child sometimes.

Fortunately, she's dealt with plenty of kids before.

Not like that. It seems that Witches have associations with darker colors. I heard that their souls are only purple too.

"Huh." Well, Sizer had the whole red wing thing so maybe it made some sense. "Souls?" Someone wasn't paying attention in class. "Souls have a color?"

She nodded enthusiastically.

Yes. Someone with Soul Perception should be able to tell you what color yours has taken.

That panicked look? That's Hamel thinking someone's going to be able to tell he's half demon. "What?" He clutches at himself like a girl caught in a shower by a stranger. "That's disgusting! No one's allowed to look at it!!" He's blushing too.

Boy, what are you doing?

What's wrong now? There's nothing disgusting about it.

Someone's is backing away on all fours in a crabwalk and somehow not tripping over the cape and violin. It is a miracle. "No! I don't want anyone looking! What's wrong with you people...?" It mostly trails off because she's an animal right now.

She watches him. Well, someone could have a complete one-eighty with their mood...

Well, whoever scans you today will be more interested in finding out whether you're a Meister or Weapon anyway.

"Scans me? No one gets to scan me!" He stands up and looks around furtively for a second before leaning closer to her and whispering, "What does scan mean?"

There's really no need to whisper. She can hear him fine no matter what, but it must be for more security on his end.

Have you ever heard of an x-ray?

Hamel doesn't use logic. Also he doesn't like looking stupid which is ironic considering how often he looks stupid. He's not good at whispering quietly either so anyone anywhere near them could have heard.

"For looking at bones?"

She answered with a nod and tail flop. Back to the communicator.

Yes. It does the same, but it can reveal your soul too.

"Eew." He made a face and then did a full body shiver. "Why does anyone want to look at other people's souls? It's weird."

Do you want to know if you're a Meister or Weapon without the extra that might be included? Because Weapons find out their forms quickest by falling down the staircase here.

This is seriously just delaying the inevitable. No one was going to judge him.

"Uh... is that a trick question? Because I don't want to fall down stairs." Falling hurts thanksverymuch.

He gives her a funny look. Was this wolf screwing with him? She might be. The thought of someone seeing inside him was really making him twitchy.

Not really. I'm being honest. That's how some people find out their Weapons forms.

She gives him a look back before pawing at her nose slightly.

"That's shitty way to find out." He decided. Sure he wouldn't mind shoving a few people down stairs but no way in hell was he falling down a flight of stairs just so someone could call him a sword or something. Cripes these people.

He frowns at the way she paws her nose and wonders what that means. If that means she's volunteering to shove him he should probably get out of here. He smiles warily and takes a step back. "So... I should probably..." He has no idea where the door is. Fuck.
