Description: Takuto's best friend and girlfriend formally meet, under circumstances that could stand to be a smidgeon more formal.

It was a big relief, having her dog back with her. Yako hadn't honestly thought Sai would hurt Kerberos, but it was comforting to have the Newfoundland by her side. She had gotten a few changes of clothes as well—the essentials, mostly—but honestly a part of her was still a little put out that Takuto had actually broken her lock to check up on her. It wasn't that she wasn't touched he cared, so much as it was a pain in the neck to carve the cost of a replacement out of her cushy food budget. So she figured he couldn't complain if she wanted to steal his clothes for a couple days.

She stretched languidly as she finished her shower, wrapping her towel tight and padding into her boyfriend's (and hers, temporarily) bedroom to get dressed. She picked through his closet idly, pausing to stare at a truly gaudy number involving what was probably once the pride of a very spoiled peacock.

...she wasn't entirely sure she wanted to know the story behind it.

"Alright then." He nods his head as he leans against the door frame. He can't help but frown a little at her next comment. He really hates that it took him this long to get here, but he's here now.... and that's all that really matters. "So I've seen..." he shakes his head. "But I know you're probably one of the one's who have kept him together this long, and for that I thank you."

"I..." She pauses, briefly torn between the urge to protect Takuto's privacy and the urge to bring Sugata into 'the loop'. It's obvious what wins out. "I only really entered the picture significantly after he had lost Aion and started falling apart," she admits. "I managed to piece him back together as best I could, but...well, Aion-san was his rock after an ordeal he went through here, from what he told me."

He already knows some of Takuto's issues, but, as much as he wants to know what the others are he isn't going to pry. It isn't his thing to go around digging for information anyway. Besides things will come in to light eventually. He listens to her quietly without interruption. "I take it that ordeal you're talking about must have been when he was kidnapped."

"Oh, he's brought that up already." She blinks. "Yes...I'm not sure how much you know about what they did to him and what he in turn did, but it left some major scars." She rubs her arm awkwardly. "He should be the one to talk about that particular incident, though, if he feels like it. Um...have you eaten yet?"

"He mentioned it, but didn't go into full detail. Though he did tell me that it changed him. And I'm sure it's one of the main reasons why he can't sleep much at night." he pauses as he recalls what all happened the day he arrived. He nods his head in agreement when she mentions that he should be the one filling in the rest of the details. "I agree. But no, I haven't yet."

"Would you like to eat with me, then?" She perks up, now smiling brightly. "I left some stuff cooking while I was in the shower, so it should be ready soon." She's hoping to get to know him a little better, since Takuto is so close to him. "Oh, I should warn you...I have a bit of an appetite."

He can't help the small smile that spreads across his lips as he looks up at the blonde. "Sure, I wouldn't mind that at all, what are you making?" He asks he shifts his weight. His brows raise slightly when she mentions how big her appetite is. No wonder Takuto was so drawn to her, she kind of reminds him of Wako. Though.... he deeply hopes that Takuto isn't substituting Yako for Wako. Even if they had similarities-- no, now's not the time to be thinking about that. Pushing those thoughts aside he waves a hand. "It's quite alright. One of my friends back home has quite a big appetite."

"Not like mine, they don't," Yako assures him in full, frank confidence. Takuto had certainly been just as thunderstruck at the scope of her hunger as the normal people in her own world usually were. "And...Hmm...I had some rice going, and a few pizzas, and there might still be some Chinese that I ordered in before showering left..." She frowns guiltily. "Actually, I think I polished all of it off already. But I was planning on making some stir-fry too! Is there anything you're particularly in the mood for?"

His eyes widen a little as she lists off everything she has made. Though he's still very sure that no one's hunger could rival Wako's, and for a minute he briefly entertains the thought of what those two could polish off together. Aaahh, maybe it would be better if Wako never showed up. They'd probably be eaten out of house and home.

"I'm fine with stir-fry and rice."

"I had a couple dozen servings of omurice earlier too," Yako mused. "If you had come home a little earlier, there might have been one left." The difference between Yako and Wako, Sugata would eventually discover, was that Yako was never satisfied or full. Ever. Even now, hunger gnawed away at her gut. It was only due to the fact that she had always been this way that allowed her to bear it silently. "But if stir-fry and rice is enough for you a few more servings will be easy enough. What kind of meat do you like?"

He can't help but squirm a little at the mention of coming back late. Of course he'd.... never really admit it out loud since it's a bit embarrassing, but he kind of got a little lost after Takuto left him to do who knows what. It was probably work related though. But yeah.... it... he had an interesting time trying to get back home. BUT HE'S NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT THAT, SO!

"Beef is alright. Unless there isn't any, then I will take whatever meat we have that.... goes well with stir-fry."

It's a pity he won't, since Yako could direct him to a nice little map. They're talking about food right now, though, so all other topics are inferior and not worth wasted breath. "We have beef," Yako confirmed. "I went to the store earlier, so I wouldn't end up cleaning out the kitchen. Is there anything you don't eat? Allergies, preferences, anything like that?"

Alas..... anywho!

He shakes his head. "Nope, not really. I don't have a preference to how things are prepared either, so just cook it how you normally would."
