Description: Sendo and Saya return home from Sendo's birthday dinner!

Well, as much fuss as Sendo had put up before, he actually had fun at his little birthday dinner with Saya. The food was great, even if he thought Saya’s home cooked food was better. And the wine was pretty good too. Sendo had just enough of the wine to get a nice little buzz going. He wasn’t aware of how much Saya herself had, but he figured since she was a genius and all that she would be able to tell when she had had enough.

Sendo still did feel like it was unnecessary to go out when they could have just as easily ate in their apartment or ordered takeout. But he knew it would have been impossible to convince Saya of that. Even she seemed to know how stubborn she could be.

Coming up to the door of their apartment, Sendo dug into his pocket and took out his keys. To tell the truth, Sendo always assumed the BREW might send him home before his birthday ever rolled around. And honestly, he was kind of grateful for it. He didn’t know what would happen to Saya if he left, and he felt better being here and being able to keep an eye on her. He unlocked the door, opened it up and walked inside.

"It's nice to finally be home."

"You are an idiot..." it's a whisper, mixed with a lot of booze and drowsiness and Saya can only press her head against Sendo's chest because she can't keep it.

She closes her eyes and oh- she is actually pretty sleepy and considering her sleeping hours suck and are far too short, this is actually a good thing to indulge.

No, she isn't. Which is a good thing, at least in Saya's mind, because something like this is far too embarrassing for her to think about.

And (un)fortunately, tomorrow she will have no recollection of it, either.
