Characters: Re-l Mayer & Roy Mustang
Location: Watch office and moving to the nearest bar
Rating: PG-13 at worst? I DUNNO
Time: Late night 12th February to early morning 13th February
Description: Re-l drags Roy out of the office for a few drinks and a deep conversation may follow.
She didn't know what time it was, but, really, some part of her internal clock said it was far too late to keep working at this computer with sent relentless tapping of fingers on keys. Even her eyes, after a while, couldn't stand to sit in front of the screen anymore. But she was keenly aware that Roy was still in the office - or at least, that he hadn't said goodnight if he had left, and typically that was what told her it was time to turn in as well. When Mustang called it quits she'd been working a little too long as well.
Or at least, that was the scale she'd come to measure it all by at this point.
Shutting down the computer she rolls her chair back, resisting the urge to rub at her eyes as she stands and stretches, gingerly rolling her still injured shoulder before exiting her little corner of the office.
No surprises here - Roy was still at his desk.
"Mustang - " She pauses long enough to ensure she has his attention, brows raised a little. "I was thinking of getting a drink before I went home, would you like to join me?" Hey, can't blame a girl for having a drink to a relax a little before bed, can you?

He'll only chuckle and shake his head. It wasn't that it was hard for him to lock emotions out and stay in control - it's that he's been doing that for a long, long time, and too much has happened, and now, quite frankly, he's tired and maybe breaking a bit at the seams.
"Force of habit."
He'd be fine, though. He always ended up 'fine' at the end of it.

"I understand that." She had a tendency to sit and think a little too hard at times, too, though it had picked up a lot more now that she was separate from the rest of their little 'group' from what she now tentatively called a home on the Rabbit.
"I've been doing the same thing too much lately."
Shall we wrap up around here or soon? owo
Roy paused there, looking thoughtful.
"Maybe that should include going out like this more often."
I think right around here would be good!
"I wouldn't be opposed to that." She pauses to finish off her current drink and wave off the offer of another, knowing very well she could probably sit back and have a few more before going back to her apartment became a problem, but she wasn't exactly in for that tonight.
"Once a week? Every two weeks?"
