You know that their time's coming to an end... [OPEN]
Characters: The Agency and YOU?
Location: Kuzunoha Detective Agency, Shopping District.
Rating: PG-13 for all dem violence, injury, the whole rawr enchilada.
Time: Backdated to May 6, late morning to afternoon.
Description: The thugs and vandals have turned their attention toward Shibusen's trained bloodhounds. What they don't know is that many of these bloodhounds are trained for more than just sniffing out crime. This log will have both closed and open threads, reinforcements are more than free to assist the Agency, and don't forget to mark your threads as OPEN or CLOSED!
[It started with three vandals who thought it would be a good idea to spray paint and scrawl threats and insults all over the Agency's walls and windows, and even the door. Soon, they upgraded to throwing rocks, dirt clods and an assortment of other aerodynamic items at windows and anyone they could see walking in and out of the front door.
What was supposed to be a simple affair of telling them off and making sure they paid their debt to society and the Agency turned ugly in a matter of minutes as reinforcements swarmed in, determined to express their displeasure and dissatisfaction toward the guests who were supposed to be dedicating themselves to keeping crime off the streets and making sure every mystery was solved and wrapped up nicely. Those men clearly did not take kindly to their friends getting in trouble for their valiant efforts to express their opinion about this part of Death City's guest-run law enforcement.
Now, the Agency is not only under attack and under fire from extreme criticism, but invaded by thugs who have managed to break their way inside with crowbars, knives, rocks and other...well, weapons.
The Agency brigade is most likely going to need some help stemming this onslaught.]

if takuto's soul is a tidal wave, kaworu's is all light, gentle and warm but with the potential to be blinding. at first there's only a feeling of gratefulness and soothing coming off him, before he remembers that more direct communication (though he finds spoken word to be rather indirect, honestly) works better for others here.]
You never mentioned that it was a progressive knife. [but this is something he definitely knows how to use, at least, and there's a ripple of confidence through their wavelength at that.]

I wasn't sure if Takuto-san would have known what I was talking about. [Just 'knife' didn't need any sort of explanation attached to it, after all.]

[he tightens his grip on the blade's hilt, sending a quick wave of reassurance through their connection, and then drops his shield to dive into the fray.
there are already people here fighting to push back the invaders, and his priorities are to find certain people first, so kaworu wastes no time attempting to take down any of the civilians here. there are benefits to being small, one of them being that it's a great deal easier to slip through a crowd.]

Do you know your way around the building?
no subject
[he'll worry about that part once he's actually reached the door of the building. if it wasn't slow-going enough just attempting to move through this mob, it doesn't help that there's so little room to maneuver and dodge that a few times he has to stop and quickly raise his shield to block a fist (and at one point a chair).]

Mustn't run away, etc.]no subject
Are you handling this alright?
no subject
I'll be fine. [He can dwell on it later once they're out of danger.] We can keep going whenever you're ready.

the building only goes up so high, so when there are no more stairs to climb he pauses again, leaning around the edge of the landing's doorway to check the situation up here. on the plus side, it's less crowded, since it seems like not as many of the invaders have managed to push up this high. less lucky would be the fact that whoever is up here must logically be the most determined, violent, and aggressive of the bunch to have made it further than the rest.]
((ooc: so stalking yako and takuto's log, and she doesn't seem to have spoken to kaworu yet by that point. so one way or another he's not gonna run into her here. so they can either get held up by something or injured or whatever, or if you'd still like to throw shinji at her that kaworu could volunteer to hold a point somewhere or something o7))

As Kaworu stops again, Shinji organizes what he knows of the situation, trying to figure out what the best course of action to take would be.]
... Do you think we can get anyone out through that crowd on the lower floors?
((ooc: I can pretty much roll with whatever, so if you have a preference for something or another, let me know. \o))
