Characters: Six and Holiday
Location: Their fancy apartment in Murder Manor
Rating: PGish Though there's Weapon touching mmm
Time: April 30th, afternoon/evening
Description: Holiday's chilling out and catching some tv... or mostly just looking through her mirror at the network. Idk, do they have tv? Why am I just wondering this now?
Holiday was achy. After doing some shifts at the clinic, she was pretty much a wreck at this point... but she liked it. Oddly enough, she missed working so hard at Providence. The missions were good and honestly she did like them, too, but it certainly didn't have the same feeling to it.
She wasn't one to ever slack however, even during down time. Holiday moved over the couch and sat with a tired sigh and... noticed Six wasn't around. Well, he had a life out there, too. She moved her shoulders around a bit, deciding on practicing her transformations back and forth for now. The skill wasn't as quick as she would like it to be.
Holiday settled in, turning on some tv as a white noise in the background. (Honestly, she never watched it all that much anymore.) She focused inside herself and was replaced as her chakram form sitting on the couch. Right. And she changed back. Still not as fast as she would like...
After a few tries, Holiday noticed that the tv was quite distracting and she considered turning it off, but perhaps she should wait between intervals to turn back in forth, just like in actual battle. So she started doing that. A few minutes human, a few chakram... Until the tv became too distracting and she just started watching it instead. It had been a long time since she's had a lazy day (or afternoon).
... Only she stayed in chakram form by accident. Woops.

Some people read. Six made sure his weapons were extra sharp.

To most people, it probably wouldn't have seemed like much, but Holiday would know just how much trust lie behind that statement.

"Good... But you already started so you have to finish up here first." The chakram wiggled a bit at her remark, but went still again. Her reflection could be seen through the blade and it was obvious that she was touched, even with the joke.

He was getting used to holding a weapon that might wiggle randomly, much less spoke. Since it was her soul brushing against his, he didn't find it as disturbing as when he wielded Zero for a mission.
He turned her over slowly to start scraping the other side of the blade so that it had an even edge. He wasn't sure if there was a sense of "up" or "down" when she was in Weapon form, but he didn't want to make her needlessly dizzy.
Though that did make him wonder how she kept her bearings when he was whirling her about.

Her thoughts derailed as he brushed against a particular spot and she moved a bit with a giggle. "That tickles. Don't ask how but it does."
no subject
Without realizing it, he ran a finger over the spot again.
no subject
"Siiiix. That does. Stop. Haha."
no subject
To be honest, he didn't even know she could be ticklish in chakram form.
"Good thing it doesn't hit your funny bone in the middle of a fight," he comments as he resumes sharpening her blades.
no subject
"Thank goodness. That wouldn't go well."
no subject
And now he was making fun of her.

She internally stretched and rested while he finished up, enjoying what was left of the feeling before he was done. It wasn't weird.
no subject
Or, depending how long they were stuck here, he could open up a shop for Weapon maintenance.
Huh. There were some possibilities.
He took his time going over each blade, paying close attention to make sure she would be at nothing less than her very best. Once the outer blades were finished, he moved on into the internal edges of the chakram just behind the four main blades.
no subject
No, it's not weird, stop.
no subject
He continued sharpening those inner edges. The next time they went out to practice or on a mission, their targets were going to be in for a rude surprise.

"Still, I'm only one half of this party. I should have been doing more for you ages ago." Like when he saved Beverly, for instance. If she could only cook!
... Okay, that massages was going to be in his near future just to make her feel better.
no subject
He took the cleaning cloth and started polishing her.
"You've done more than you think you have, Holiday."
no subject
She gave a little chuckle at that. "Like what? You put the first few rents on the apartment, you give me massages nearly every night which are amazing by the way, and let's not forget that you saved my sister back home. By all rights, I should be paying you."
Just remembered that he's from after the Rex and Van Kleiss team up against ZAG-RS.
And how many of them actually knew how? Might be something he'd have to ask about.
He gave her a confused look. "What's this about your sister?"
oh yeah. XDDD
... Oh... Right. "You remember when I first got here and told you she was cured? ... Well. It's pretty much all thanks to you. You saved her, not me."
no subject
"...How? That's a job for a scientist, not a soldier."

"Dr. Moses, the one that created the machine to cure the EVOs, had stopped halfway," she began, "He found that super charging the nanites and making EVOs into weapons was far more profitable with less work. He tried to do that to Beverly which was how we found it. He conned me into thinking he could cure her."
Her tone had a taken a sour note. She did not like that part of the story and the fact that Moses got away chaps her even more. But that's okay. She relaxes against Six's touch again.
"Anyway, I realized that he had separated the molecular bonds holding the nanites in place, but he couldn't figure out how to break them. I rewired the machine, but it could only work if the power was rerouted. Your magna blades managed to do it... It was far too dangerous but you did it anyway. I- We thought that we had lost you for a minute."
Holiday's soul is full of guilt, shame, and pain. That one moment was nearly too much to bear, but the moment after...? Seeing him and her sister alive and well... It was the most amazing and happiest moment in her life thus far.
"It all worked out, though."
no subject
He shifted uncomfortably. "I'm...not surprised...I made that decision," he said awkwardly.
