Description: With the arrival of a certain catfish, there are a lot of discussions to be had.

[It was strange that it had never occurred to her that any of their "enemies" might appear here in Death City. BREW certainly worked in mysterious ways if it thought someone like the Condesce would easily lend her hand to the war effort. She supposed she should at least be grateful that it had stripped her of so many of the things that would make her a dangerous foe, but considering what the Empress' mere presence could do to some of those she held dear to her, Di wasn't feeling especially thankful.

Given that their home was away from any of the free shelters where most newcomers resided it seemed the obvious choice to open up their doors to all those trolls who would be in immediate danger of the Condesce. She scrambled around making preparations for the large host of people they would be getting--thankfully she still had all the furs she had on her person upon her first arrival and they would serve as good temporary beds until they managed to get something better.

The couch had been covered in blankets and pillows, all the furs laid out before it to make a secondary bed. Drinks were pulled out in preparation and when the first knock came she quickly marched over, peeking through the glass in the center of the door before opening it up.]

[Who cares what the Empress is up to, that doesn't matter right now. What matters the most is that they all get to hang out together for a few days, and it is going to interesting and fun!

[ Three months ago, Sollux might've flipped the fuck out and straight off the nearest handle. Touching? No. Coming up behind him unannounced? Double no. Coming anywhere near the freaky proximity of his freaky eyes? No to the power of two, motherfucker.

Right now, though, Sollux just keeps on typing. And typing. And typing some more. ]

[Geez, she should have known she wouldn't get much of a reaction to it. Giving up and letting her hands slide away, she slowly circles the room, having a look at everything in it.]

That's not a bad idea! I have a ninja friend and I floored her without even trying once. [Threw something at Tenten's face a little too hard oops.]

[ It's a messy sort of room, while remaining organized for the most part. A large majority of the mess is cords, lines and cables criss-crossing every which way between the scattered computer towers here and there. A pile in the corner to sleep in (rarely used), a teetering tower of stacked game-cases, and a begrudgingly-placed scratching post for a thankfully-preoccupied cat. (The monster was somewhere in the hive, that much Sollux knew. Any time it wasn't scratching at his leg was a good time in life.) ]

Really? That's actually pretty cool. Did she have to give you something as forfeit?

Nope! But she already made me food and let me watch movies with her. [It was a good night, which reminds her:]

Hey Sollux, have you tried human sushi? It's fish and rice and you can roll it up or make into little balls, it's really good and you should try it if you haven't already!

Anenomeways.. It looks like I'm staying in your hive for a few days! You don't mind do you? [She pauses a moment for an answer, though she's really not expecting him to say no.] I really don't think the Empress being here has to be a big deal! But it's fun, kind of like a huge group sleepover, which is why I brought all my human movies with me.
