[Closed] People I've loved, I have no regrets; some I remember, some I forget
Characters:
Location: Fatality Condominiums
Rating: G because Kaede is a baby
Time: All Day, April 23rd
Description: Kotetsu, Barnaby, and Kaede move into their new apartment.
It hadn't taken a lot of searching for Barnaby and Kotetsu find a new apartment, but they thankfully managed to convince the landlords at the Fatality Condominiums that they could afford the high rent there. While this wasn't around the same as his skyrise apartment in Sternbild, it was nice having all of the space again. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, ample space in the living room... It was pretty much a luxury, seeing as they each could have their own room, and the pets would have space to stretch their legs.
However, moving was bound to be a tricky situation. Three people, two cats, one dog, and a rabbit, on top of their things, just made for a hectic situation. Barnaby was just glad that his items were very minimal, which had given him ample time to pack up the kitchen and start on the living room while leaving the Kaburagi father-daughter team to pick up their semi-shared room and Kotetsu's chunk of the living room. He was more than ready to move. But were they done yet?

"That's a good idea," he said with a nod. "Kaede, we can entrust the pets' care to you while we carry everything in, can't we?" And with a smirk, he glanced back to his partner. "So long as we don't collect any damages along the way, right?" In reference to their little 'bet' from before, Barnaby couldn't help but tease Kotetsu on this.

"Now now, you don't need to worry! Papa's gonna be extra careful with your things, I promise!"
Maybe he'd be a little rougher with Barnaby's boxes, at least if he could get away with it. Just what he got for bringing up the damages thing first. Maybe he'd even tell Kaede to keep the pets in the room Barnaby decided to use for himself, see how he liked that animal smell for a while.

Completely unaware of Kotetsu's nefarious plans, Barnaby just decided to return to making sure the other rooms were packed up. With Kaede on Kotetsu's case about her belongings, Barnaby figured there was no reason to interfere in that and just made for the living room again. He returned to organizing, this time just stacking more of them together to get a clearer glance around they room. It was almost done. Probably just a few more, but the apartment was looking more and more bare.

"All done over here!"

"Okay, let's all head on over there first to drop off the first set of things. you too, Kaede. When we come back, you just stay here and let me and Bunny take care of everything else, then when we're done we can take the last set of things and give this place a proper goodbye."
