Description: Welcome to Death City!


The city was in good shape today, despite the recent attack to it and the unfortunate earthquake a month back. The damages to the city had been repaired best as they could, and everything else was covered in a healthy heap of decor for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

Things were a bit somber, as was expected after so many of the residents lost their loved ones. Fortunately, if there was something Death City was good at, it was getting back on its feet after a fall.

"More carried than dragged," Bakura pointed out with amusement, heading for the elevators to press the call button. "And it's a pretty good building, un!" Not as nice as some of the ones he'd lived in back home, but these were being provided free of charge, and for one person (who hadn't managed to build up a huge game collection that needed it's own room) it was a good size. "Everything's in really good shape and they even let you have pets!" Something that the luxury apartments from home hadn't...

Yes! Carry! Why would dragging be the first option? Oh well, she continued to push the wheelchair, turning it to face the elevator doors when Bakura pressed the button.

He laughed. "I'm pretty heavy though!" But he was joking about being dragged of course.

Pets, huh? That was something to take note of...

"Where can we find out where I'm supposed to be?"

So belatedly, Bakura should have checked the lobby area first.. *quietly recons*

"I think there should be someone around that we can ask... I'd gotten my room on the tour, but I'm sure they'd have your key waiting for when you could get here yourself..." Bakura mused. "Aaa-- let me go check in the office!"

And unless Hughes wanted to come with him, he would be heading down towards said office and getting that key for him.

Amaterasu remained there, watching Bakura hurry off. It wouldn't take too long; she doubted there was an urgent need to follow.

Well, he had no reason to follow if Bakura was going to manage to get it. Unless he did not, but Hughes had no doubt that he would. It was not some difficult task anyway.

"All right." Hughes chuckles and watches Bakura head off.

It didn't take too long before the teen returned, key in hand. "Second floor, apartment I!" he announced, presenting the key to his wheelchair bound friend.

Her tail wagged at Bakura's return. Huh, second floor? That's not too bad.

Hughes is a pretty big derp already. All the shame OTL

That was good. The second floor was not too far. Hughes took the key and grinned. "Thanks, Bakura."

It was silly to only go up one floor in the elevator though... But that was just temporary. Once he was well enough to walk, he would definitely take the stairs.

I think Hughes actually out derps Bakura :D

Bakura smiles warmly, heading for the elevators. "And if I recall right, I is on this side of the building," he nodded his head in the direction as he pressed the call button. If it were not for the whole wheelchair thing, he would have suggested the stairs, but that would be silly, all things considered. "Since Leo's in a K, which is more that way than D was..." he continued to muse, mostly to himself.

Derps yay!

She came along, pushing the wheelchair and noting where I was in comparison to A even though she was on floor eight and Hughes was on floor two. The difference wasn't terrible or anything.

"Okay," he says as he nods in acknowledgement. He makes note of it for future reference, since obviously it would be a poor choice to forget where you are supposed to live. As he does, Hughes flips the key in his hand.
